I heard the views of 2 Donaghmore men at the Tyrone game, both ex county players.
They're very unhappy with their management team for not fielding and also said that parents are livid with them.RRHF will probably dismiss this as lies but there seems to be a feeling from Donaghmore people that management have fecked up big time
I know the Ardboe lads were really looking forward to the game. You can imagine their disappointment when Donaghmore failed to show.
I also feel sorry for the Donaghmore players who were denied the chance to play in a county final by their own coaches.

Ardboe have been relegated once,1988 after being suspended after the row with Omagh.
We were top of the league at the time(after 4 or 5 games)but hadn't enough points to stay up.Struggled in intermediate in 89 with so many men suspended but won the double in 90,only dropping one point in doing so.

Training pitch in Carmen in no state for a game Tiempo.

A few venues in Tyrone with great floodlights but none of them would be able to accommodate the large crowd that this game will pull in.

My favourite game against them was the 95 semi final, when it looked like a lost cause at ht.Noel McGinns late goal to beat them in 86 also stands out.92 league final was a sore one as was the 01 quarter final.Derry haven't beaten Tyrone for 6 years now but I would never take anything for granted against them.
