Yeah like they only had a few months running the shite out of them and playing challenge games...but God forbid players would be expected to play games!!!

The whole rest issue is never managed properly by the GAA managers. Like I know soccer is pro, but the top teams play twice a week with massive table topping games and then European nights too.

These lads are getting grants and are talked of as eilte athletes.

I'm happier as a Kildare man playing Wicklow. I think we will lift it a bit, but there will be some tankings later in the summer...

Such a weak response internationally. They believe Israel is trying to not massacre people and they will have a good long look at themselves in the mirror!

I honestly don't know what Israel needs to do before they actually get some serious sanctions. It's so depressing. And I see now the aid food groups are stopping their operations temporarily so that's job done for Bibi and the lads - let them starve!

So many of these politicians joined FG because it was their best chance to get a seat. They also are the ones who think there is very little wrong with the country.

Now, when there is a hint that they will be up against it, they don't fancy the fight. Of course, the toxic online abuse will get all the blame as they dish it out directly or indirectly via the Indo, etc to SF and any other parties they don't like.

I said it on the the Div 2 thread, and I know it's very wishful thinking, but when it got very toght a few times yesterday the less established Dubs made some poor choices on the ball and seemed a bit unsure if a Con, Fenton or Kilkenny were not there.

But, it's unusual to see them in any way rattled, so I don't see them being stopped. There is some hope too in the goal chances that were coughed up too.

A good chunk of Kildare people talk about how Geezer leaving set us years and want him back.

I'm past it as I thought he can't make good ingame calls and all the integrity talk went out with the Seanie Johnston debacle.

This is my roundabout way of asking Armagh people if he can bring you on?

It was a great game.

It might be a false dawn again...but when the big lads are tied up the newer lads are less likely to grab the game.

There is big trouble brewing within Israel now as they want the ultra orthodox to do military service.

I'll admit ignorance on it, but see they're don't pay tax, get subsidises for studying Torah and are the ones setting harder line.

I think Ferguson showed a lot more battle than other times, in terms of winning tussles, etc.
The lads seemed to have an organised press and also played some nice stuff without having to scream about 'we are trying to play football!!'

They also just got rid when needed. Before the game the back 3 were questioned but at least one of them stepped up and squeezed to allow that press further up.

Szmodics looks good and is a keen runner on and even moreso off the ball. He can take it on the half-turn too. Idah also looks like he is mixing it a bit more physically too.

Didn't know Paddy McCarthy was there too. Like he is a coach with a good Premier League CV too. I'd say they might be hoping things go well same as Gleeson with the women.

Well you wouldn't want to be waiting for the Indo or Times to follow up on this.

Seemingly it's all SF fault and Simon is usehering in a new era of civility, once the others play nice. SF polioticians getting abuse doesn't ever get mentioned either.

Irish political discourse is so bad and so biased with these analysts. I think Harris is a decent fella, and he will bring back some like Kate O'Connell, etc.

Just logging on to make sure everyone is only saying nice things about Leo. Not wishing him the best in glowing terms seems to have ruffled many...
I can't get over the fact that while people were dying he was dropping Mean Girl quotes into speeches. That sums him up. He never was IN IT with the people and the facts laid bare are record homelessness, waiting lists and more.
Like I voted FG a few cycles back so not a blue shirt basher, but it's time for them to go. Josepha Madigan has jumped to. FG are going to be wiped out.

It's funny how many political journos are so biased against SF that they are somehow going nuts over it all and the FG people leaving is a sign of the toxic nature of public life. In fairness it's not easy but the full truth is that they are not keen on running because they don't fancy losing.

Labour will be wiped out with the Greens too. The only reason this Govt was ever brought about was to stop SF, but now it's game over.

Just checking in ahead of next year - hello from Kildare!

I'll be keeping an eye on things a bit more. I am worried that wheels that have come off, could stay off and we throw out the babby with the bath water and ditch all the experienced lads and end up with our U20s and a few more who could get a land.

At least we will have a new stadium for all our guests!

I'd agree. There could be some added spice n the last round and the fans would come out and rally locally if certain things were on the line.
Whereas, let's be honest few get riled up by a nice game in Croke Park with one eye on the championship.

Are Meath and Cavan going better than expected? I half-expected for the wheels to come off Meath this year...well I hoped as much but it turns out it's Kildare who are in bits.

That draw should see Armagh and Donegal doing the job now. I don't think any of the others would really survive in the top division at this stage.

Sadly when we say World Leaders we have a lad in the UK who has never run for PM in an election, who replaced another lad who was the same. He is too busy firefighting at home.

The USA is amoral and with Trump looming the Democrats don't want to lose any pro-Israel money. Again, minding their own house.

In other words the Conservative Party and the Democrats are more important than thousands being slaughtered. That's just two players and others will take the lead from the USA.

It's just perverse that aid is being dropped along with weapons supplied by the same notion...
