Quote from: J70 on Today at 02:41:18 PMCity's PL form since the turn of the year:

P18 W15 D3 L0

Regular as clockwork.

Draws with Liverpool and Arsenal. Not sure on the other.

1-1 with Chelsea at home.

Arsenal will likely look back on that draw against City now, a match they played defensive in and never really pushed for the win.
Dont agree with that any team will take a point at City before game starts bad losses to Fulham and Villa are what has put them in this position. May not be over though, the Aguerooo moment City needed to win against a rank bad QPR team and tried their best to make a meal of it.  West Ham probably owe it to Moyes to put in a performance last day and they do have some quality at top end of pitch.

Quote from: square_ball on Today at 03:41:55 PMOne for you Mayo ones - whats the deal with Stephen Coen? From watching Mayo over the years I can't see what he brings to the Mayo team and for an average player imo, he seems to play every single game.
I would agree he seemed to be a bit of a household player at Colleges level and gets regular starts in variety of positions not really sure what his strengths are/ role is within the Mayo setup.

Arsenal loss to Fulham early in the season, fannying around with Partey at right back and Gabriel dropped has come back to bite, the Villa result latterly obviously cost them but Villa were fantastic in the second half and fully deserved the win, Arsenal gassed that second half in the game between the Bayern tie, very fine margins in PL and CL, staying at that level and finding another 1-2% will be difficult, hinges on recruitment as ever

Whats the thoughts on Kerry/Monaghan Kerry have looked off it so far, Monaghan not being talked about at all which makes them a dangerous proposition expect Monaghan to give this a real go but come up short.

It still feels this is going in the direction: after leaving no stone unturned, and engaging with some of the top managers in the world (not our fault they never returned our calls), we are happy with John's results as interim manager and we are delighted to offer him the job (please take it O'Shea, we're desperate now, and ignore Duff's sniping that we treated yourself and Brian disgracefully).

Quote from: Blowitupref on Today at 02:18:45 PMGalway team apart from Tierney,McDaid that would likely be Galway's strongest 15.

Connor Gleeson
Johnny McGrath, Seán Fitzgerald, Jack Glynn
Dylan McHugh, John Daly, Liam Silke
Paul Conroy, Seán Kelly;
Johnny Heaney John Maher, Céin Darcy
Rob Finnerty, Damien Comer, Shane Walsh.

Subs: Conor Flaherty, Seán Ó Maolchiaráin, Eoghan Kelly, Daniel O'Flaherty, Cian Hernon, Patrick Egan, Kieran Molloy, Liam Ó Conghaile, Cillian Ó Curraoin, Matthew Tierney, Cillian McDaid.
Think the bookies may have got this one wrong 6/4 Galway playing at home with all their main men coming back and good record v Derry, who for the first time in a couple of years their squad is being tested due to injuries should make for very interesting game.
