Fair play Mr Brady, been a bit of bug bear in the past.....................however hes become a very likeable squire of late, standing up well for connolly on the radio yesterday evening, fair balls to ya  ;)

magpie seanie

Standing up for him? What does that amount to? Cos if it was anything like that he didn't deserve to be sent off then Brady is talking crap. I would have sympathy for Connolly for missing the final but he struck so tough luck. The Donegal man in the same incident should be done retrospectively.

Agreed. Connolly might not have got much on him but I'd give him a 9.8 for artistic merit on the subsequent dive.

So he suddenly becomes a good guy because he agrees with you on something?

Kind of ironic from a guy who lay down to get Kerry's William Kirby sent off in u-21 final..also against Meath in a league game in Ballina and in club game vs Clare champs.More in common with Marty Boyle than DC

Not to mention the time he was bouncing of Kevin Walshe and mouthing shite in his ear only to be put on his arse by the sweetest of punches from Kevin. Brady gets up groggilly then and runs over to kevin to shake his hand. Complete bluffer as a hard man, footballer or pundit.

Ros Matt , reminds of the Connacht Final 2001 when Ray Connelly got sent of for farting near a collapsed Roscommon player whom a passing breeze left sitting on his arse.

This one was, erm ... a tad controversial at the time too ...  :P

Mixed the good with the bad at times, did DB.

Good point Johnny (even if you didnt mean it) DB and that same Roscommon player are well matched as attention seeking bluffers/wannabe hard men.

You had to do it Spec!
Now you're going to have the president of the republic of DB (aka Stephenite) on your case.

That's an interesting discussion reading back through it RossMatt - the conclusion by the end was that it's the Mayoites themselves who are DB's greatest critics, believe it or not!

And sure I won't hear a word against Stephenite - didn't he also proclaim himself on that thread to be a great admirer and adherent of the stolen sheep congregation. Amen to that - there is only one true faith  ;D
