Best of luck to the lad, only a too familiar site as another lad of youth is lost to emigration

As a fan of the American Football he may yet land a role there with some team, such are his skills of the arm ;)

GAA Discussion / Season Ticket query
August 22, 2011, 06:24:31 PM
Howdy guys....................I sent an email to the season ticket office as I want to clarify my attendance percentage................anybody else have difficulties with the season ticket dudes this year ????

Dublin will have played 13 games so far this year including the league final and including the donegal game, to possibly qualify for an all ireland ticket you have to have attended 60 percent of these games................................... 60 percent of the 13 equates to 7.8

I have attended 8 games this year with 1 of the games not being recorded by scanned entry....ie the armagh game, work has stopped attendance of others unfortunately ..................jumping the gun her but if we do qualify I wont be eligeble for an all ireland ticket, they are an awful shower all together  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Celebrity Bainisteoir managers revealed
05 July 2011
Former Irish soccer star Tony Cascarino, ex-Eurovision winner Dana and comedian PJ Gallagher are among those who have signed up to the new series of Celebrity Bainisteoir series.

They will be joined by RTE Radio's Brenda Donoghue, Gillian Quinn - wife of Sunderland FC chairman Niall - and former TD Paul Gogarty. The names of two other celebrities won't be unveiled until the GAA clubs they are managing are told first.

The first match next month will see PJ Gallagher's St. Patrick's from Donabate take on Oughterard from Galway, who are managed by Paul Gogarty. Tony Cascarino, meanwhile, will take charge of Killeshin from Laois.

Gogarty said: "I met my team at the weekend and I got a great reception. I'm from Lucan in Dublin but my granny was from Roundstone in Conamara."

The popular series will return to RTE in September with the final set to be aired in November.
