Course they should have it.... however they need to field separate teams at inter county level to reflect their budget and player pool

Some of the replies are hilarious

"All I see is Englishmen invading a foreign land and imposing their identity on locals, like the good old days..."

"@EnglandRugby : okay guys, we need an advert that represents England
Advert: got it, I'm thinking invasion vibes, imposing English identity on other cultures, bit of colonialism, some cultural appropriation, and a fat load of arrogance"

US man drowns while proposing marriage to his girlfriend in Tanzania

Underwater proposal gone tragically wrong was recorded and posted to Facebook

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/sep/22/us-man-drowns-while-proposing-marriage-to-his-girlfriend-in-tanzania

A woman has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her boyfriend, who drowned while proposing marriage to her in Tanzania.
Kenesha Antoine posted a video on Facebook of her boyfriend, Steven Weber, swimming up to the window of their underwater room at the Manta Resort on Pemba Island, off Tanzania.
"I can't hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you. But everything I love about you I love more every day!" the note reads.
In the video, the Louisiana man flips the page to show the message "Will you marry me?" before pulling out an engagement ring box.

Antoine posted on Facebook that Weber "never emerged from those depths".

"You never got to hear my answer, 'Yes! Yes! A million times, yes'. We never got to embrace and celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives together, as the best day of our lives turned into the worst, in the cruelest (sic) twist of fate imaginable.

Folks, I would have once thought the same as yourselves. Go out and educate yourselves on the subject, there is plenty of info out there. It is completely different from dressing up as a woman, or as someone said putting makeup on to be white. Blackface has a long documented history of being used as a way to systematically humiliate and denigrate different ethnic minorities, particularly black people in the USA. Try to see it from their POV when looking at an incident like this. I am not trying to preach to anyone, as like I said I once thought the very same, and I accept that a lot of these incidents did not have racist intentions at their heart. However if calling them out and publicizing them helps to educate people about the sensitivities of different cultures and people, then that can only be a good thing. Irish people should be more understanding than most given our history and experience of discrimination.

It was 20 years ago. He was at college!  If someone went out tomorrow and did it then absolutely no sympathy for him/her. I heard the leader of some party in Canada on the radio and he went to town on him! As if he did it yesterday

In a similar vein Bernardo Silva has got himself in trouble for a tweet. While it clearly was not intended to be racist and Mendy took it in the humour for which it was intended Silva is getting a lot of heat on this. Again, i think this reaction is over the top, it was two mates mucking about. The two guys are clearly close friends and  just demonstrates that Silva never even thought for a minute that it would be construed as racist. Castigating him as a racist is just nonsense in my opinion. Even the headline is over the top. Naive or ill advised, possibly, offensive No.

Seen that. If the two players have no problem with it, then it's not a problem.

Well that's just not true at all.

Had to laugh at Boris today, telling holiday companies to get their act together and ensure that they have a business plan that will make sure government taxpayers  won't be forking out money to bring people back from being stranded in foreign lands!

f**king cheek of him, the banks could have done with a proper business plan before the taxpayers had to bail them out also!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea
