General discussion / Re: Car Insurance!!!!!
Last post by Armagh Girl - Today at 09:22:20 PM
Husband's Car Insurance was due a few weeks ago, We have both our cars plus our House Insurance with Direct Line for a good few years, which were always competitive.  The quote came in for almost £600 -up £300 since last year (yet we have never had any claims ever).  They looked at quote and took it down to around £570, so i went online and got it with Budget Insurance (underwriters Liverpool Victoria) for £290. House Insurance has just been quoted and up almost £100 since last year but still the best at that price.
It is no wonder that Insurance Policy's are up given the many crashes etc that are happening with huge insurance claims arising from them, along with fraudulent claims being made.  This along with accidents being caused by non - insured drivers, that we are all being penalised for :(    Yet with all this the Insurance Companies profits have never been greater!

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on Today at 10:27:59 AMFermanagh really had Kildare's number in the league but a lot has changed since then for us. But, how are they going?

In reality there are no amazing teams down here, so I'd like to think Kildare can continue to lift it. Kevin Flynn is back and there are a few lads with niggles hopefully pushing too.

Leitrim in Longford will be the stiffest test, so hope to keep momentum.

Will know more about Fermanagh after this weekend .
Wicklow were very poor and we struggled  with Carlow .

We have a few players back now who missed the league so we should be stronger.

Is Robinson not just as guilty as Jeffrey?  He stood there with  Jeffrey when he sold his  big lie, and said nothing.

It's the loyalist working class they're trying to fool though and they're idiots

It's very simple for very simple people

SF equals United Ireland
DUP equals staying British

That's the only slogan they need, been working for 100 years for unionists

You can bet any problem or complaint will be blamed on Jeffrey

No Co Board put up a motion to that Congressy retain the 2022 system.
94.7% voted for the present system to come in for 2023.
To an simple west of Ireland lad like meself that sounds fairly decisive.

Quote from: marty34 on May 29, 2024, 09:16:31 PMThis is the type of candidate that SF are 'going after' now I think.  Moving away, to a certain extent, from the old guard. Pat is new blood, if you pardon the pun!

If she is successful, would she go down the route of Health Minister at some stage? She would have a better knowledge that most of this portfolio.

Maybe some long term planning here but needs to get elected first obviously.

Snapchat might know more?

Can't see her trading being an MP for MLA.

Maybe Minister for Health in the Dail?

Quote from: AustinPowers on Today at 06:47:55 PMSo, big Jeffrey  was lying back in January about the Irish Sea border  being removed (as  anyone with  half a brain cell knew)

Robinson yesterday confirmed  this.

I 'm not sure why they  would  admit  this with an election coming? Surely this will  send many  of their  voters to the TUV (or other parties)?

Not only that , but Robinson stood with Jeffrey in January knowing what he was  saying was a lie.  Can unionist voters trust a word he (or the DUP) says again?

Is this the end of the DUP?

Not a chance. They've changed their tune because there's an election in the offing. It's a joke.

Giving out about the thing they signed up for to go back into Stormont. Now he's saying we need to look at it again - embarrassing.

Election mode.
