Post by: Oraisteach on February 07, 2011, 03:15:41 PM
Sorry for my ignorance, but where exactly does Glen call home?

Glen who? I know of a Ted Glen who used to hang out in Greendale, God know's where he is now though?

Sometimes a straight question just deserves a straight answer.

There is Glenullin as well who some would call "The Glen".
This for the Ulster league?
Glenullin just outside Garvagh which is few miles from Maghera (Glen Maghera) so either way you wont be far from either!

"The Glen" has traditionally always been used to represent Glenullin, whereas plain old Glen is used for the Maghera team.  Quare craic when they play each other, especially with the jersey clash.
