The Next Three Days is pretty good.

Fell asleep during it - no reflection on the film - just wrecked! must get a look at it again soon!

Watched The Departed yesterday. Good show

Recorded a film called Catfish that was on More4 last week and got round to watching it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It's hard to explain what it's about so I'm going to steal this from IMDB instead of having a go myself:

In late 2007, filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost sensed a story unfolding as they began to film the life of Ariel's brother, Nev. They had no idea that their project would lead to the most exhilarating and unsettling months of their lives. A reality thriller that is a shocking product of our times, Catfish is a riveting story of love, deception and grace within a labyrinth of online intrigue. Written by Universal Pictures

Filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost document a story involving Ariel's brother, Nev, a 24-year-old New York-based photographer, and Abby, from rural Michigan who contacts Nev via Facebook, asking for permission to make a painting from one of his photographs. Written by IMDb Editors

There is an original French version as well which is also worth a look.

Are you for REAL???  :o

Watched that a few months back and had to turn it off! very uninteresting and to call it a thriller was a complete joke! Waited for long enough for the whole thing to unfold into a kidnap or horror story type but never happened!!!
Please tell me i turned off to quick and it got exciting at the end?

Yeah, I'm for REAL! I'd agree it definitely isn't a thriller but I found the way it was filmed very intriguing - it's a true story filmed as the events were unfolding rather than a true story told months or years later

Fair enough I just hate watching films waiting for something to happen and then nothing really does!!

The girlfriend made me watch that Catfish the other night, she had it recorded as well.

Have to say I didn't like it, was far too disturbing for me, the woman was a f**king weirdo of the highest degree.

Burke and Hare is a funny show.  Accents are a bit dodgy at times but it's enjoyable all the same.
Private Cowboy: Don't shit me, man!
Private Joker: I wouldn't shit you. You're my favorite turd!

Is it though? Plenty convinced that it's a load of balls. At the least, I found it difficult to believe that the lads weren't a lot more clued in to the real situation than they played on.

13 Assassins is a Japanese samurai movie with a great long battle scene towards the end. Well worth watching for fans of the Japanese samurai genre.

8.5 out of 10.

The makers claim it is anyway. I think they were clued into what was happening - by the time they got near the farmhouse or the "gallery" they expected them to be empty

Anyone else seen the brothers bloom?
Watched it last night and I thought it was brilliant.
Very quirky, but some good performances and subtle humor.
