yes and no, most stories for the past few thousand years have had the same basic plot, normally something to do with good conquering evil and pulling the bird as a sideline. Leaving that aside, the problem is that studios don't always want original as it's risky, better to remake and update a successful movie, you know there'll be an audience and whilst you won't win any awards you'll get a return on investment.

watched three films in th last few days

Grown Ups= just ok..not that impressed
127 hours= such a load of balls

wanted to cut my own arm off just to have something to throw at the tv...
The social network= Loved this film...really enjoyed it
