Watched Solomon Kane the other night, thought it was very good.

Watched Sherlock Holmes last night - not bad, but a tad long winded.

Plus, I didnt know that they fought crouching tiger style in Engerland back then.

I have only ever fell asleep watching one film in my life, and on Friday night Sherlock Holmes became the second.

I watch Wall Street (1987) last night.

Really good film. It has aged well since the 80's and is still valid today.

I think a squeal is due out soon

a squeal, whos in that movie, sounds good though. ;)

In all seriousness Wall Street is a classic, hope the sequel is as good, shia le beouf is in it as is michael douglas..

Seen Robin Hood, went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly suprised, it was good, original take on the story..

Sherlock holmes was excellent movie, beyond me how any one fell asleep during it, tomb raider was the only one i fell asleep during, after Angelinas shower scene i might add.

I went to Prince of Persia in the cinema last night. A solidly entertaining movie, the actions scenes are what it is all about and they carry the movie.

I watched a couple of films on DVD over the weekend.

1st up was Sherlock Holmes. Wasn't sure what to make of this at the start, but I did enjoy this a lot. By no stretch of the imagination was this Sherlock, but in name only, but if you can get over that, a terrifically funny film. Robert Downey Jr was brilliant as ever and even though I'm not a fan of Jude Law, he played the role well here.

The 2nd film was Men Who Stare at Goats. One of the oddest films I've seen in a few years, but still a great film. Funny in parts and surreal in others. I had to keep reminding myself that most of the stuff in the film happened and not from the heads of some Hollywood writer. Great show.

I bet it was her hypnotic fish lips that did it  :D

The Iceman

Watched Sherlock Holmes there and it was mediocre at best.  It all tied together well at the end but for the most part of the film I was wondering what the actual plot was....RDJ and Jude Law worked well together.  Dubious fight scenes now in fairness.....

I was at Bad Lieutenant with Nicholas Cage on Friday. I never knew he was a nephew of Francis Ford Coppola. Directed by Werner Herzog who has a habit of making his movies a bit different and a bit crazy(FitzCarraldo). Some funny moments in the movie that would  make you laugh thinking about them. A lot of American, cop gangster movies follow the same formula and blend into one another, this one is different and keeps you entertained. I liked it a lot

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is out in a couple of months I think. It has received pretty average reviews from its first screening in Cannes. The original is a classic so I'll have to watch the sequel regardless!

Yea when he decided he was gonna be an actor he changed his name because he wanted to make it on his own steam and not on the back of his famous family...  Fair dues to him
