is there anything remotely decent on in the cinema at the minute?
Honestly the new Saw is fairly good
Hmm not a big fan of them films.
Neither was I until I got dragged to this one and Iwas on the edge of my seat for the last half an hour. The last 5 were stupid but this one is actually good
Do you think Usain Bolt could replace Thomas Walsh?

Zombieland fits into a much higher category than "remotely decent". The imaginarium of Dr Parnassus is worth a look if you don't mind your movies being a bit abstract. UP is good for the fans of Toy Story cartoon type of movies. Apart from that there is a lot of average stuff from what I have seen and heard.

Got 2 dvds out at the weekend...... both very average imo and not worth the effort.

New Town Killer (I think)
Public Enemies.

Is the reason for such a poor year for films in the cinema anything to do with the writers strike last year?  I have never seen such a poor year for films but looking at some previews its about to pick up.  I saw the Vampire's assistant last night, and wasn't expecting to like it but thought it was very good.  I was really impressed with it.

Cant wait for Paranormal activity.

Saw 'Away we go' at the weekend. It was I suppose a nice movie, about a couple expecting their 1st child, the wife/girlfirend will really enjoy, wouldn't classify it as a chcik flick though, not for the under 25s I'd iimagine either
