I think its fair to say last nights intermediate game was a great advertisement for things thats good in our game. Galbally worthy winners on the night but Greencastle will count themselves unlucky not to get over the line.

Two totally committed teams going hammer and tong without any handbags or bad tackles, just hard championship football.

This victory was probably the first Galbally have been tested like this all year and to be fair they came through even with a struggle.

Greencastle can content themselves on pushing them so far when no1 gave them a hope.

Coalisland and Trillick will hopefully be a cracker next weekend one would suspect the winner will come from this?

HealyhHellRaiser will yous now go for the league playoffs after an encouraging performance in the Championship?

Same management stay in place next year??? Im sure you are the man to answer ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Having lost a good few players it hasnt been easy keeping it together. We now need some sort of stability going forward, weather or not its the current management is up for discussion.

There will be a few retirements no doubt but a good few young players to blood in, in the future. Every club goes through this lads!

That is a little harsh Healy. Killyclogher has the same roadside parking as every other club in Tyrone, a main road outside their ground.

Wee Roddy take carrickmore for example. I know there is cars parking on one side of the road but Jesus yous can accommodate a lot of cars in the car park and grass pitches beside it.

Aside from that Carrickmore creates a lethal atmosphere. the open side of Killyclogher is very mute in a game.

Killyclogher need a big sale half time lotto to pay for their management set up.

Donal Magee gets his way once again. Killyclogher an awful venue for games of this magnitude fine if its a stand alone but a double header!! The room for people to stand is one issue but the parking is worse. They will be parking in Carrickmore and getting buses to ferry them in!! Madness.

Everyone saying its Trillicks to lose, Tyrone Championship is the most unpredictable championship about.
Omagh, Errigal, Killyclogher, Coalisland, Carrickmore, Clonoe, Edendork and Trillick. Anyone of them 6 will have their eyes on progressing.

To call a winner and possible candidate in a run in Ulster is foolish. Yes the Tyrone winners could well make an impact in Ulster but there are too many variables to make a call.

All good games to look ahead to all the same!

Dont think there can be any doubt that Aghaloo are head and shoulders above everyone else in Division 3. With cooler heads and a full compliment of players and they would have won that game without a doubt.

Flip me such an analogy.

Sure if your granny had a c**k she would he your granda!

I was at every game this weekend and it wasnt a good start to the Championship at all. Attendances were woeful due the fact of the awful times some of the game. Tatts v Edendork at 1pm on a Saturday, Holy lord who thinks of this stuff.

Owen Roes beat a brutal Stewartstown team
Errigal fell over the line against an Eglish team who if they took their chances could have caused an upset. (Shane Dorrity woeful as well btw)

Saturday games were a mixed bag Edendork very good, Omagh played well in snatches but still didnt kill Dungannon off until late on.

Cookstown were Rubbish awful stuff and Urney were slightly less shit.

Carrickmore beat a Derrylaughan team that lost their manager a few weeks ago. Bar Kennedy they had no threat at all. Carrickmore played well but will never get as much room to manoeuvre like they did yesterday.

Last nights games were not good either, bad crowd and in turn no programmes that were being handed out.

Pomeroy not good in the first half but decent going forward in the 2nd.

Galbally very sharp but beat a Strabane team missing 5 so i'm sure Galbally wont be letting their heads go yet. big games ahead this weekend few good derbys on the cards. I would say there will be decent crowds this weekend. Ardboe and Coalisland will be a hot and heavy affair along with Trillick and Dromore. Hard to call them!!

Strange enough to walk at this stage as Derrylaughan would fancy a go at a senior semi considering the draw they have.

Get over a beatable Carrickmore team and they would be favourites to win the quarter.

With all respect i wouldnt say Carrickmore are a beatable team come championship. they have a fierce tradiotion of winning tight games with an average team.

Carmen could have a big say in the championship and could knock out one or two of the favourites, good enough to win maybe not but they will fight tooth and nail.

The 2017 Club Championship 1st round was played on the weekend of the All-Ireland - Cant see why they would not do it again?
Any word when these fixtures will be released?

Tyrone dont play in Ulster club until 3rd November (senior)  20th October - Intermediate & Junior.

Plenty of time to run it off.

2017 AL final was 17th September this years is 1st September so dates are in advance over 2 weeks. I cant see the logic of playing it the weekend of the AL Final.

Any dates for club championship? At least their be some excitement in them games compared to that tripe yesterday

3 Weeks apparently. Starting w/e 30th August

There is absolutely no chance W/E 30th August, Weekend of All Ireland Final! Championship will more than likely be 6th/7th/8th September. Perhaps over 2 weekends.

Its the players who lose out here. Id like to see a coming together and just play the final out. Surely neither set of players want to win or lose a final in this manner.

CB should make it a priority and refix the game.

Omagh and Trillick was a tight affair last night. I really do feel Omagh can go and win a back to back. Just coming to the boil nicely and a good championship draw. To be fair it will be very difficult but if we stay injury free I think we are there or there abouts

Whats your name Heally?

Why? Whats your name Dire?
You're the one using player initials,  so are you going to use your own name to stand by it?

LOL wise up ya clown. If the hit was as bad as people say his personal details should be plastered up. Sick of you hard men thinking you can do anything you want. If you want to play ball then play ball if you want a dusting match go to a ring and fight all you want!!!

Was a feisty game to say the least in greencastle yesterday. Carson had the ball at the time of the incident and was a dirty hit but he got a red card and that should be the end of it. cant see how it warrants more than a 1 game suspension just because the injury sustained was more serious. why treat it differently than any other strike?

Outside of the left you cant actually think this small curly haired p***k didn't mean what he did? in a court of law it would be GBH simple as that, remember one punch incident can be life threatening as we know in Omagh in the past 5 years. no place for it anywhere let alone a football match.

Lough were winning by 5 when it happened the lad must be a complete tr**p to do such a thing.

The player that struck has a long running history of this type of thuggery. Only way to stop him from doing it is to remove him from playing!!

So if Mark Carson receives a career ending injury, What you are saying is a 1 match ban is enough?? Punishment doesn't fit the crime imo!!![/b]

the injury cant affect the suspension, the exact same incident could happen again next week and the player on the receiving end could jump back up and there wouldnt be a word about it. Worst thing is it wasnt even the dirtiest hit in the game

A recent incident involving a Trillick player cost the puncher £10K.

Probably will go down the same route in this instance, red card all the evidence required.

You cant go about boxing players week in week out!!! The referee can state in his report what he sent him off for, he can also sanction him for starting a melee, bringing the game into disrepute etc. A one match ban does not fit the crime, As I said previously PG is a thug who is at this on a regular basis. Every Loughmacrory supporter will agree! There's somethings you can try and back your club man up and this is not one of them! No1 can condone this type of behaviour
