Ah lads, give it a rest. Mike Sheehy is a clown..probably not even from Kerry. Don't feed the troll.

How long have you been on this board ?

They didn't quit because of a draw with Kerry... they are winners and don't like being stuck on a bench. Back to their clubs!

Whatever happened to serving your time ?

If there isn't a full on brawl or a ref stuck in a boot I want my money back.

Ireland expects Meed/wickla...you had better deliver.

Most of 1898 Athlone urban is soccer orientated. Garrison town and all that.
Country blow ins would be more GAA orientated. Meanwhile Brigid's area ( Roscommon 4) would benefit from blow ins too( Ahernes Kilbride's, Dolans, Cake..,....

"Roscommon 4" ?

We should have a competition. Longest footpass seen in the last 6 months. From all accounts our crossfield balls against Tyrone are up there. Surely there are longer ?

"the Local Government Act of 1898 designated all of Athlone (Urban) as belonging to Westmeath, including areas west of the river. Much recent growth has occurred outside the official town boundaries."

So does everybody in Urban Athlone play for Westmeath ?

Would Athlone have any sense of kinship at all with St Brigids or Clann Na Gael ?

Surely the Athlone incursion into Roscommon territory has a far bigger impact population wise and area wise than the Ballaghadereen sideshow.

Why the focus on Ballagh ?

That's shocking. The true measure of a man is to come back after setbacks. You have to keep going.

Has he put forward an analysis of how the blanket works?
Yes. Repeatedly

Quote from: BennyHarp on April 08, 2015, 03:05:28 PM
Has he put forward a tactical analysis of how to work around it?
No

Quote from: BennyHarp on April 08, 2015, 03:05:28 PM
Has he suggested reasons why managers are going down this route?
Yes. Its a single point but he has repeated it often enough

If you read or listen to the man you would know this. Don't let that stop you

Brolly is right. The big question is why he is only coming out with these criticisms now ?

I always remember hearing the phrase "you have to earn the right to play football" in the noughties and wondering what exactly it meant. I guess Brolly finally figured out the obvious implication of euphemisms like that.

go on, be honest, you lapped it up when he was on the Tyrone bandwagon. What is amazing is how you lads didn't see it coming. You should have known he always backs the winner.

hmmm..so Joe Brolly is now public enemy number 1 in Tyrone ? You lads loved him when he was taking pot shots at us !

I think Kerry circa 2002-2008 had better players than Tyrone. Seamus Moynihan, Darragh O'Se, Mike FranK Russell...etc I honestly cant think of any players on the Tyrone side that were their equal.Tyrone won mainly because of the system they played to.

What do you think  Ciarrai_thuaidh ? which players would you trade ?

How come none of you lads have mentioned the major backers of the Houthi i.e. the Iranians ?

Why do you always try to control the message in this way ?
