Where did I ever say Trump was honest ....I said he addresssed the issue (i.e. Told people what they wanted to hear)

Seriously whitey?? ;D

I guess she wasn't making shit up about trade wars bringing factories back and that repealing Obamacare with some as yet undetermined replacement would solve these issues, but just because the entire campaign season was consumed with emails, pussy-grabbing and "build the wall" doesn't mean that Hillary was not addressing those issues.

As for Biden... who knows? He never got much traction before and the GOP machine never went to work on him (same with Bernie).

Lots of candidates are good in theory. Actually running is another thing. Ask the GOP "deep bench". Giuliani in 2008. Hillary in 2008.

Anyway, it's all academic.

We have our president-elect, warts, orange hair, twitter account, thin skin, conflicts of interest and all.  :P

Whether you believe him or not is besides the point....enough swing voters in enough swing states did, and that's what got him elected. He constantly addressed the issue and made it one of the main components of his message.......she didn't!

And even if she did, nobody would believe her anyway because she is a proven Liar
who will say anything to get elected

I think his proven track record of bullshit and lies FAR exceeds that of Hillary or any other person who ran, ever, never mind won.

Of all the sticks you could use to beat Hillary with in comparison to Trump, lying is by far the most ridiculous!

Trump I believe said many years ago if he ever ran for president he would run as republican as they are the easiest to lie to and would believe anything you tell them.

You said no one would believe her even if she did address jobs because she is a "proven liar who will say anything to get elected", yet you said enough swing state voters DID believe HIM, who is one the biggest liars and chancers ever to come on the scene.

Was "proven liar" not the distinction between the two?

whitey

They're both liars, he just addressed the issues that were more important to the swing voters than she did (even though he was probably lying while addressing them)

What democrat candidate would have beaten Trump?

Bernie Sanders.

Nah. He would have been targeted in a different way. labelling him as liberal and socialist would have nailed him on the runway. He would have been spun as soft on terrorism, migrants, etc. All those red counties in all those states would still have gone with Trump. The U.S. deserve their new President.

What a coincidence. China waited until just before Trump got in before winding up good old Rex.
Sabre rattling?
Brush up on nuclear strategies Rex. Brilliant!

Hows the buyer's remorse? 37% approval
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Must be the lowest approval ever for an incoming President

Meh, that's the new birth certificate scandal as far as I care.

Sweet Jesus.

It was used to claim technically Obama was not fit for office until something stupid was proven. This is being used to make the same claim. It's an old trick that comes up all the time. There is no issue with Trumps finance that wasn't there for everyone else. Does anyone think the Bush family in the Oil trade did not have an impact on his decisions?

It's almost refreshing to see him do it. We know money is an issue for everyone in office. Decisions are made based on someones money, maybe now we know it's Trumps money rather than someone we never heard of. It's how it works.

Sanders would have won in hindsight. So too would Biden. In fact anyone bar Hilary would have won and she should have but her campaign was arrogance personified. That said though I'm convinced that even on results night, Trump and his team thought they wouldn't win.

J70 my real point is we can solve nothing here and to try to put that seem energy and passion in to local government would serve us all better.
I genuinely believe anyone else would have beaten trump - I think Bernie or Biden would have beaten him.
I don't know how long Trump will last - theres enough crazies in this country that he could get a .357 delivered at high speed and its President Pence going forward.
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

About 99% of those crazies support Trump, though.

It's fun and interesting to discuss this stuff. Doesn't mean we can't also support causes and get active in our real lives.
