I don't think that's the goal being described above. That Fashanu goal I remember as he receiving the ball with his back to goal, I think Hanson was marking him. He kind of flicked it up and swivelled and hit it. Into the Kop end I think? Great goal.

I was wrong on 2 counts. It was Carrow Road, and it wasn't Hanson. Looks like maybe Alan Kennedy.

I remember watching Grandstand when those goals were going in. David Fairclough scored a hat-trick, in what was presumably a rare start for the supersub. Looking at his reaction I presumed that was a consolation for Fash, but just looked it up and it was in fact an 81st minute equaliser to make it 3-3. Dalglish and Case scored in the last 2 minutes to make it 3-5.

I see it was a sudden heart attack that took Regis. Very young at only 59.
