Quote from: Harold Disgracey on Today at 12:37:25 AMI see wee Jeffrey appears to have deleted his twitter account.

Meanwhile apropos of nothing.

A husband and wife from Co Down have been charged with a series of historical sexual offences against two children.

The 61-year old male was arrested at his home alongside his wife around 6am on Thursday, March, 28.

It just never stopped raining.
Never got a cold but dry spell.

Well as far as I can tell, you have never once mentioned the subject of tax evasion by our non-dom superwealthy. Not once have you blamed such tax evasion for the lack of additional funding available to health/education etc. You have only ever wanted to blame it (and everything else) on immigration, and to post obsessively about that.

Quote from: whitey on Today at 12:51:46 AMwe just happen to be discussing immigration
I'm also trying to discuss tax evasion, but you've made it abundantly clear that you're not willing or interested enough to get involved. You only want to talk about those pesky immigrants. Which tells a lot about how genuine your claims are to be only motivated by concern for the money that should be available to help those "disabled kids in hospital". It's almost as though your distate for immigrants is motivated by...something else.

Quote from: Armagh18 on March 28, 2024, 10:45:28 AMGlobal warming my hole, cold wet and miserable March.
Except for the fact last year was the hottest on record globally.

Some people need to understand weather and climate.

Not here it wasn't as I can mind debating whether (pardon the pun) or not to put on the fire last Summer which i'd never done in any summer prior.
Doesn't Weather refer to short term atmospheric conditions? cos it's been shite for a good while now.
It was the warmest year on record in Ireland.

2023 certainly felt colder than any year of 2020/2021/2022.

July was colder than usual. But months like February, June, December were quite a bit warmer than usual and the average was higher as a consequence.
Thats not much use lol. May and June were mostly class last year.

The gardai should be doing it. Better still local residents. I never mentioned "republican types" whatever that is.

are lots of protestors not themselves local residents  the gardai cant beat people up for standing in the streets

i dont think local residents want to put themselves in danger.

Quote from: whitey on March 28, 2024, 11:42:17 PMI get it

Any any all complaints/concerns regarding migrants/refugees/asylum seekers are driven by racism or stupidity or both

If you're a taxpayer how dare you question the funneling of hundreds of millions in taxpayer money to immigration when basic services such as healthcare, law enforcement and education go unfounded

Should be an interesting election season

I think the point is why are you not as agitated about other perhaps more significant issues such as the aforementioned tax evasion on the likes of the Healthcare, law enforcement etc if you can explain that, then people might be less likely to label you as potentially racist for constantly referring it back to immigration.

Who said I'm not agitated about all these other things........we just happen to be discussing immigration and in my opinion people have legitimate beefs with the government over how they've handled this crisis

Whether it's the non
enforcement of our own laws, or suddenly finding hundreds of millions of Euros in funding for refugees while basic services for the population at large are seriously underfunded

Do you think they have handled it properly?
