so a documentary directed and produced by Christopher Hitchens (who isn't biased in any way of course against anything religious) claims that Mother Theresa was simply a product of accidental media hype.....I'll tell you one thing Eamonn - you're a piece of work lad. You point the finger at Tony but you're just as bad.
You should go and read some books on her.  Watch the films about her. Hear people on the ground who worked with her and knew her.  Research the other side of your beloved atheist argument.... She never claimed to be perfect. If you had even an inkling of her care for other people you'd be doing alright

If only the pro-abortion brigade had been aborted themselves.

Put simply, what Google and Facebook have built is a pair of amazingly sophisticated, computer-driven engines for extracting users' personal information and data trails, refining them for sale to advertisers in high-speed data-trading auctions that are entirely unregulated and opaque to everyone except the companies themselves.

The purpose of this infrastructure was to enable companies to target people with carefully customised commercial messages

Reminds me of of one of my favourite Viz Top Tips

Unbeknown to me, every time I purchase a "sneaky treat" from the local Tesco petrol station and use my Clubcard it records what I've bought which in turn adds those items to our "favourites" on the online shopping facility. So you can imagine my surprise when last night my wife and I did an online shop, and up popped all my secret chocolate bars, fags and porn mags. Thanks Tesco. Every little didn't help this time.

Millions come into the club's coffers and no player is being lost. It doesn't get much better than that.

You'd wonder how long it takes to process a transaction like that to Celtics coffers?

Various sources suggesting different settlements, including installments over the length of the contract. Doesn't really matter as the money is coming our way no matter which way.

Exactly, and as good as gold in the bank in the unlikely event that the Celts need to borrow for any reason, say a stadium extension/upgrade.

Or centre-back upgrade.

For the benefit of those who claim to be Nationalists but are stuck in a partitioning mindset and also stuck in the 19 30s -
The Irish Free State went out of existence EIGHTY YEARS AGO today.

#OTD in Irish History – 29 December:  stairnaheireann.net
Constitution Day (Ireland)

1937 – The new Constitution of Ireland (Bunreacht na hÉireann) repealed the 1922 Constitution, and came into effect on this date, after having been passed by a national plebiscite the previous July.

Sure - we were completely sold down the river in December 1921. So those bits afterwards don't matter that much.

That's totally irrelevant. Just stop hurting his feelings by saying he's a freestater. As he mentioned it was all resolved by the stroke of a pen 80 years ago.

The Celtic board take a lot of stick but TBH i think they run the club well
Not so sure about that.
If they were paying 25k a week for Kolo Toure as a player what sort of wages is he on now as a coach?
Might be the explanation for why the centre-backs are so poor as he was a pretty shit player himself.

I don't know what Toure was on but if BR and Celtic thought he was worth it then who are we to criticise...Plus do we know for sure or is it a Tony guess? Plus you won't get every transfer right, if you did your name would be Merlin. Even if he was paid that money as a player (i would have no issues with that) i doubt v much he'd be on a third of that now as a coach.

The figure I mentioned I got from here. It's an estimate and could be bullshit. Gamboa on 15k :O

I graduated from college with a BSc. in Computer Science, work as a software dev and have used computers since I could walk and have been involved with forums nearly as long (some being very much comparable to this in size, so don't think I don't understand the logistics) - there is no 'alluding' to my experience with technology - it's there in black and white.

We can't all be geniuses that invented the internet like yourself.

Hillary won the popular vote by over 2 million. "The American people" did not vote for Trump. "Keep spinning" indeed!

And celebrate Hillarys win with a cool glass of turnip juice
