next gen firefox etc are gonna come with privacy mode.
You will turn it on - browse what you like, and at the end of the session anything done in that session is gone.

Nothing more suspicious by a blanked history, cache etc

IE 8 does this also, Safari has had it for a while (not that I ever use it) and I'm sure opera can do it also or its in the pipeline.

a good precaution is to install two browsers and only use Safari/Opera/Chrome for anything dodgy, but use your regular IE or Firefox for work presentations.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Was once lying on the sofa watching sky with my wee bro in the room... I was flicking about the channels, 401... 405... 136... All the channels I would go to regularly and then i put in the number for Television X!! I wasnt even thinking it was just a reflex!!

I must have thought it was 12.01 pm and the freeview had just started!

Firefox - you can just go to Tools and then select Clear Private Data - then click clear now - that will do the trick

Yeah but as said above how suspicious is it a clean history with nothing saved??

Autocomplete is a hoor alright, don't you have the option to turn it on or off when you first use the internet? Had it on the old laptop but made sure to turn it off on the new one!

Yes, indeed. The two browser solution also allows you clear the cache in the "recreational" browser without losing all your other useful links in the "work" browser.
