I've said it before but I feel Gaelic is going to die a death if it continues on this trend of professionalism. Lads want a life and the younger boys have a different mentality if not elite players. It's a struggle when it is almost full time 7 days a week between gym, actual training, matches and recovery for an amateur sport

Quote from: Mikhailov on March 07, 2024, 12:57:43 PMWho is the Aidan Corr (Tyrone native) mentioned in the Irish News today who has 100+ appearances in the AFL down under. That's the same number as Conor McKenna but I never heard Corr mentioned before

Maybe he moved to Oz as a child - does anyone know?

Corr is a strong East Tyrone name
Born in Brockagh in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Corr emigrated to Australia with his family at the age of three

Thank you for that. Interesting to hear that

Will definitely look out for him in the future

Carrickmore beat omagh on penalties in 2020 final, played in 2021 I think

Think 2021 and 2022 were u17 seasons.

Thanks. If I had to guess I would have said Coalisland as they put together 4-5 in a row u21's around that time.

Coalisland won 82, and Clarkes won 81

The sky is the limit for Donaghmore once all these winning lads come through.

Did Ardboe/Moortown not get much return out of their 2 back to back winning teams from 2012-15?

It's Donaghmore.

Not sure what took the CCC so long when releasing the fixtures. They are the exact same as last year, only difference is home/away is flipped for each round from last year. Shocking stuff.

Are you sure. My own club is obviously reversed as is normal but they are in different order to last year. The starred games make is a problem for the fixture makers to be fair
