GAA Discussion / Re: Railway cup returns!
November 24, 2011, 02:14:11 PM
I'd be sticking luder in a corner back position........he kept all corner forwards scoreless (using some of the black arts that our club has seemed to forgotten how to use) on route to a county b u-16 title!!!

Kiltane, not one good enough, big enough or even physical enough.

Edit to say, Delighted that Horan got the Job, now we just have to let him get on with it. All I want to see is a Mayo team compete to its potential and where ever that lands us so be it!!

General discussion / Re: Venice
July 24, 2007, 12:18:26 PM
6 days in Venice would be a lot, we had 5 days booked there before but after 3 we had seen enough and headed to Milan for the rest. Venice is ideal for a weekend break, you would get to see most of it and it is very chilled out. But for me anymore then 3 days is enough.

Milan is a treat. really nice city and really easy to get around.

Its a pity we haven't Breaffy in Bangor............................it could be all over for the season now. and a possible relagation from the league to top it all off.

General discussion / Re: Armagh's best pub?
July 23, 2007, 12:02:41 PM
As a westerner that goes up to Armagh from time to time I can say that I do like Donnellys in slivebridge. Garveys is just downright scary, its the sort of place you wouldnt want to piss in. Its the most unwelcoming pub from the outside, noting to entice you to stop.

I must say some of the pubs in Cross are a good laugh also.

He is consistent thats for sure. I'm still depressed over the whole thing, the league is a long way away.

The 7 of ye would have to be dressed in blue for Sam. I'd say you'd be too green for him.

If you want something different head to Belmullet, savage beaches and scenery around the place and a really good buzz at night. You could even get to see the infamous Doohoma were one of our corrupt politicians hangs out ::) There is also the Gas protest going on all the time if you are stuck for something to do.
