General discussion / Re: Buying a house

Just bought a house to be built feb/march completion - although they are putting the roof on this morning.

http://www.bestpropertyservices.com/ballyblaugh-meadows/d1541

Just outside Newry, a few mins from the North/South Motorway. Belfast in 35 mins, Dublin in 50 mins.

20 3 bed semi's being built by a local builder who has completed numerous developments over the last 10 years with no stories about bad building or any horror stories you sometimes hear about.

3 Bed semi for £120k, reasonable enough, middle of the country but close by to Newry, Dublin, Belfast. Also given a PC SUMs to go off and purchase kitchen, tiles, bathrooms etc. Found this very tight but if you shop around its wild what some people will charge you. I priced like for like in bathrooms & Kitchens and saved £1500 on the bathrooms and £3500!! on the kitchen.

Giggs either offers nothing sensible or Van Gaal doesn't listen to anything he says. I do not think Giggs has the charisma for that job. All eyes will be on Gary Neville in Spain. I think  Ferguson is secretly wetting himself at the prospect.

Neville will have to prove his worth in Spain or Giggs gets the job, I would say Fergie would prefer Neville but you never know.

f**k Ferguson. He left the team in shite and picked a completely incompetent replacement. He has done enough damage.

Neither Giggs nor Neville(s) are worth consideration as replacements for LVG when he leaves in 18 months time. They have achieved nothing in management.

Stew - am I right in thinking you believe Giggs would be a bad manager because of his infidelities? Surely as a Christian (I assume you are) you should be promoting forgiveness and being non-judgemental. Judgement is reserved for one entity, no?

Wash your mouth out, if SAF were to return it would all change. Thats just a ridiculous comment on the manager who led us to all the silverware over the last 20 years. im not calling for a return but there was a certain mentality, and beyond all a FEAR. For anyone to slate SAF for retiring is BS, he left with a title winning team!Transition could take this team 5 years. We have been lucky the quality of the league has been so poor or we would already be out of the picture.  We are 3 points from top of the league, form has been poor and quality of football also but if someone was to give you the current table after 15 games at the beginning of the season im sure any fan would have snapped their hand off. Undoubtedly, there will be a huge regret if we do not strngthen in defense & attack come January 31st

QuoteSay what you want about Rooney but he has now scored more goals than anyone else for England in the history of the game and that record is unlikely to be taken away from him in his lifetime.

Not so sure about that with Euros and WC groups being expanded.  50 is well within the reach of a marquee striker like Kane in the next 10 years if England are drubbing minnows 7 or 8 nil.   He has a goal per appearance so far!    His Da is from Galway too so he could be doing it for the Reps :(

Rooney has not stopped at 50! I would expect he will score a lot more yet. He started international when he was 18, not many do that now.

Virgil Van Dyke was nothing but a disgrace last night, if Southampton wish to pay £10m jesus Celtic should bite the hand off them!

Only for Gordon last night it would have been even more embarrassing. Replacing Forrest at a crucial time and keeping Johansen on the filed puzzled me a bit.

Poor side, who can only count their blessings they wont be involved in the Champions League Group Stages - They would have been hammered!

Until Celtic deal with the issue of not being able to win away from home - they will never do anything. They are a 2nd grade team playing in an excuse of a league. They wouldn't even finish in the top half of the English Premier
