Quote from: An Watcher on October 05, 2023, 10:50:54 PMTrying to work out how it bypasses Sion?  Along the river at strabane crossing the urney Rd at some point? Is it a new road between the glebe and sion then?

https://www.a5wtc.com/Map

That's a pretty useful interactive map of the route.

No, the full Sion Mills to Derry section will start first.

Loughmacrory had to replace their keeper with a few minutes to go as he was injured. The lad who did goals for the penalties isn't a keeper.

I'm not on all day lads. It was aggressive but didnt lead to injury but I didn't realise the rule had a threshold for neutrality or force.

I have bug bearer on this no matter if there is bias or not it shouldn't happen and unless refs play to the rules it won't go away.

The summary is the umpire gave a point to kildress that went over the post and the crowd where all 50 50 on it. The umpire was adamant and the ref gave it wide the keeper then pushed him aggressively and the umpire done well to stay on his feet. Ref booked the keeper I don't know what the rule is and it caused a big debate where we where watching.

If he had done the same to the ref would it have been
yellow?

No it would have been a red and a 12 week ban.

Settle an argument. Whats the penalty for a player assaulting an umpire picked by the club involved in the game?

It's a 48 week ban (96 weeks if repeat infraction) for assaulting officials. It shouldn't matter if the umpire is neutral, his own or the opposition's.

It's actually 96 weeks.

Saw a video of Eglish Dromore. Dangerous stuff. Should be heavy sanctions handed out to both clubs.

That's a very odd view to take on things unless you seen a completely different video

Will the Sunday Game be looking at Sean OShea incident with McKinless? Two Derry lads taken cynically and no cards.

Would need to see it again but did McKinless not drive the boot in him after?

Are you on drugs? O'Shea stops McKinless from taking a quick free and in the process of it gets kicked. McKinless ends up seriously injured in the middle of it all.

go to 2:02:00

the ball is gone and O'Shea gets a right oul boot. that's how McKinless injured himself.

It all resulted from a very cyncical foul from O'Brien though.

Hopefully McKinless isn't too badly injured.

What is the point you're making? That McKinless kicked O'Shea on purpose?

Joe has been given his orders.

Mc quillan is the  most infuriating referee  I've ever seen .  I'm all for having respect for official s , but by Christ  he makes it so hard  for people to do that.  Those two very soft frees  effectively won Kerry the game . I ain't from Derry but I am absolutely raging . I dunno how Derry folk are feeling

Is a soft free a free or not?

I used the wrong  term.  I don't  think either were free kicks

Push in back when try to dip the ball is a free, when did that change?

What was the foul on the other one? Think it was O'Brien who was "fouled"

Did you have a chance to look at this again Milltown? You're never too short of an opinion.

Where does that leave the ladies now? Are they through to knockouts? Will that be last 4 or last 8?

Last 8 with a home quarter final.

Kieran Treadwell in the Irish squad, chosen over Kleyn. Huge mistake in my opinion. Kleyn one of the best players playing in Ireland at the moment. Treadwell is just a token northern protestant on the squad.

The same Kieran Treadwell who was born and raised in London?
