With Thursday night football and toothless title race looking likely, you'd worry that Fernandes become a target of the continental teams. He seems very ambitious and demanding of those round him, so United may have a job keeping him unless they invest big.

Haven't seen anyone mocking him since the news of his mother came out. I'm a United fan and I can not stand the man, but it's absolutely disgusting that he can't go to her funeral and wouldnt wish that on anyone.

it was heading towards a 1-0 to be fair. That VAR call could have gone either way IMO.

Lucky it wasn't a penalty instead of free kick. VAR rarely overrule the on field ref when not a clear and obvious error.

True it could very easily have been given as a penalty, but a penalty isn't an automatic goal so my point stands.
On your other point though VAR did overrule the officials for the goal as the linesman had waved for offside didn't he?

This doesn't happen to other top level teams. In 2008 Utd's injury crisis meant that Owen Hargreaves played right back. Utd won the CL and PL. Levels Liverpool can only dream of. Bad teams always have excuses, injuries, refs, VAR.

Bad teams don't win the Champions League one season and the Premier League the next season.
Liverpool have made mistakes by not adding more squad depth and quality to their squad but Liverpool aren't suddenly a bad team. A silly comment really.

Good teams don't implode the way Liverpool have.

I'm not a Liverpool fan but I'd hold off and reserve judgment myself and not be one of those jumping on the bandwagon calling them a bad team.
They are certainly going though a horrendous dip in form but let's see can they come back from it before writing them off.
