In saying that, they haven't done poorly or bad, but just much of the same of what already is/has been there before. I don't see any real game changers there or someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. Seanie O'Donnell probably the stand out for his work rate alone

BUMP!!!!

Quote from: nrico2006 on March 09, 2024, 04:24:24 PMBoxers usually deteriorate physically but the weird case with AJ was that he obviously had mental issues which affected his performances post losing to Ruiz. He became more hesitant, committed less offensively etc. and even tried to just outbox Usyk. Based on the last 2 fights under BDs tutelage, it looks like he has overcome those issues now and looks like the old front foot fighter he was. That fighter could beat Usyk, or Fury.

Beating Ngannu, who isnt a boxer, and Wallin doesnt mean he could beat Usyk or Fury

Well said. All these fan boys on here talking about AJ getting his mojo back, ffs catch yourselves on. This is why casual fans should just watch these sports and not gibe their opinions

Quote from: gallsman on November 10, 2023, 08:44:17 AMFirst off, "best paid" is irrelevant. Legal aid is a set rate. He's not setting whatever fees he wants.

Secondly, fair access to the justice system is a key component of any functioning democracy, especially in a criminal trial where the state prosecutes the case. Surely you can understand that justice must be fair, yes?

He's a gypsy with five kids on benefits. Other than your well documented racism and detest for poor people, what does any of that matter? What do you actually want to see, him defend himself in a kangaroo court?

For the more bloodthirsty amongst you, who simply want someone locked up regardless of whether the cops got the right man, maybe perhaps you can understand that an incompetent defense would more likely give grounds for an appeal, prolonging the ordeal for the family. I remember when the Joanna Yates murder was discussed on here, several posters has swallowed the "creepy landlord" media hatchet job about Christopher Jefferies and decided at that point it was time to lock him up and throw away the key. The state should be seeking to ensure the defendant obtains the BEST defense possible and that that legal team does the BEST job it possibly can. It makes convictions more secure, strengthens the judicial system and rule of law. Do you not see or understand that?

As for "having the cheek", yes I absolutely do. Same way you have the cheek to sit across the pond and pontificate endlessly about things you haven't the slightest clue about.

f**k off you do gooder p***k

😂 the shape of this!!

I hate how matter of factly he threw out the racism card, does my head in

How can you go from playing St.Mirren, Dundee, St. Johnstone, Livingstone to playing barcalona, Madrid, Bayern, PSG?

It is impossible

Quote from: seafoid on November 07, 2023, 10:36:46 AMGalway are the only team in the chasing pack with Final experience.
They had a lot of injuries in 2023 plus Silke and Molloy were missing.  If everyone is fit they have a great chance.

I honestly wouldn't put Galway ahead of any of the others. I think on their day they could all beat each other. Maybe i am being biased but for me Derry, Galway and Armagh would be a tiny it ahead of the Tyrones, Donegals etc

I think there are a number of teams that can realistically win sam. It would take the rub of the green but say if the top 2 meet in a semi final, then the likes of Derry, Armagh, Tyrone, Donegal, Galway would all fancy their chances in a 1 off game in the final. Honestly

In fairness i bet nearly all of us have said something on the football field in the heat of the moment (f**k off ye fat bastard, hows your mother, nice hair cut etc) but to take it over the line and resort to mocking child abuse, skin colour, religion etc is another cattle of fish.

After all is said and done i could sit down with nearly every signle opposition player ive played againist and have a pint if it came to it. How many of the Kilcoo lads can say that? Are they and their familes not embarrassed of their actions? What will they do once football has finished and they are still know as 'your man who knocked someones teeth out with a blind sided punch', or 'the man who mocked child abuse'.

There can be no smoke without a fire. The general consensus around the county and further afield is that Kilcoo are a bunch of scumbags. I am taking away nothing from the quality of footballers they have

Judging by the videos circulating around whatsapp/social media plantforms Tyrone could have a new captain for next season. Oh, and Stephen Nolan may have a new inmate in Magherby prision to interview. Thug!
