What is the cheapest crowd to park with for a week at Belfast International Airport? I remember a few years ago I had parked up at a farm/yard about half a mile away and the owner would take you down in a shuttle bus-is that still available?

Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated

We were due to fly from Krakow to Belfast on Sunday with Ryanair (two separate bookings), but they cancelled all flights until end of the month from Sunday onwards and communicated this to us on Saturday evening.

Panic booked an Easyjet flight to Manchester on the Saturday evening but mistakenly booked it for the following week. In any case, easyjet informed me later that evening that flight was also cancelled anyway as Poland was closing its borders.

Anyway, her brother managed to book us Easyjet flights from Krakow to Geneva, Geneva to Gatwick and Gatwick to Belfast on the Sunday, and all of these flights went ahead and we got home eventually.

I think the total cost of booking the flights back home came to approx. £1200. Will Ryanair refund/compensate the price of paying for these flights to get home with a separate airline? If not, will Easyjet refund/compensate me the cost of the new flights to get home as they had cancelled the flight that I had mistakenly bought for next week?

I have no holiday insurance, although Ms bogball does

Many thanks in advance

Lads and ladies,
I have 1 nights accommodation going for the Clifton Court Hotel on the Quays in Dublin for £63 or €70 quid on the night of Ireland v Denmark Tuesday 14th November, which I am no longer able to use and unfortunately I didn't chose the free cancellation option. Double room, if any one wants it drop me a PM. Hotel have said all that is required is to change the name of person staying online.

Has anyone got any good recommendations for sites or apps for downloading films for free on to an iPad without any lengthy signing up process or having to subscribe?

Have just noticed that Sky Sports have reached a deal to broadcast the 3pm Kicks offs in the Premier League to Irish customers only-there is still a blackout for UK customers so as to not affect attendances  ::)

Think Setanta Sports previously had these rights.

Just wondering what way will this be done i.e. will there be a separate Sky Sports Ireland channel available to Irish customers only? Thought I read somewhere that these may be broadcast on Sky Sports 5 exclusive to Irish customers, if this is the case will it just be a blackout for UK customers?

Anyone planning on travelling or has booked throw up your plans!

Going for 6 days, flying early Monday 13th from Dublin with Ryanair into Paris for 3 nights then train to Bordeaux. Bordeaux for 3 nights then fly home early Sunday 19th to Dublin.

Accommodation looks to very sparse around Bordeaux, looking into Airbnb, looking to be around £600 for the 3 nights in Bordeaux, haven't looked at Paris accommodation yet.

5 of us going, craic will be 90

Planning on heading to Tenerife with the girlfriend in November for a week a so, eventually getting around to booking a holiday.

Anyone that has been know where the busier resorts are? Even though it's slightly out of season we are keeping fingers crossed that the weather should be find and hopefully bars still be reasonably busy. All suggestions welcome  :D

Heading down to Dublin for the Tyrone Kerry match this weekend and few of us are staying down the Saturday near Connolly station. Where would be decent for pints during the day and evening time before heading out for the night? All suggestions welcome

GAA Discussion / Selling tickets in Belfast
June 10, 2014, 10:10:56 AM
Have a pile of tickets to sell for our club draw up in the Belfast area, £10 each or £20 for 3, top prize is £3000! Where would be the best areas/streets to target in the South Belfast direction or what would my best plan of action be? The sort of areas where there is plenty of money, and willing to give to a GAA club?

Not sure if this has been covered before, just trying to gauge opinion as to the best football gloves to buy. Alot of brands out on the market now, but many of them seem to wear very quickly after drying out. All comments welcome

General discussion / Car insurance No Claims Bonus
March 22, 2013, 03:27:15 PM
Quick query, during my previous employment I was given a company vehicle for the purposes of my work and was insured under my employers insurance. I worked for over a year. Can I still claim 1 year's No Claims Bonus if I was insured in this way?

General discussion / Dublin for St Patricks weekend
March 13, 2013, 11:11:52 AM
Well folks it's that time of year again, and Dublin sounded the perfect option for us with Tyrone and the Dubs playing on the Saturday night. Heading down nice and early on the Saturday, going to catch the rugby somewhere, throw down a few pints before the match, probably end up in Coppers that night!

Then straight back on her the next day. Anyone any good suggestions of watering holes we could visit in between on both days, somewhere where there is music and the craic is 90?

General discussion / Belfast Rat and Mice infestation
February 15, 2013, 10:52:36 AM
You heard it here first-there is currently a major outbreak of rat and mice infeststions across Belfast with numerous food premises having to close due to the scale of the problem. The problem has heightened this week and is no doubt a consequence of the ceasing of baiting in Belfast sewers! At least one major shopping centre has shut (although this part of Belfast has seen quite a few 'pest' problems in recent months) with numerous other restaurants and businesses experiencing problems!

General discussion / Appealing a parking ticket fine
December 27, 2012, 04:34:22 PM
Drove down to the pub last night and picked up the car this morning at 2pm at which time I had a parking ticket on my window. Didnt know that it was a no parking zone but upon further inspection I found that it was.

What is the process for appealing and what reasons can I give for my appeal even though I dont have any real excuse to tell them apart from I didnt want to get caught by the cops after drinking 15 pints of stout  :D

All suggestions welcome
