Looking for advice re Whiskey.
Not being a drinker of it myself I wouldn't know what to buy but I want to get a bottle for a client who has given me plenty of work this year.
I know he drinks Jameson but I want to get him one that isn't just the normal run of the mill bottle of whiskey(if there is such a thing)
I have seen bottles with vintage on them and bottles with reserve on them so can anyone recommend a decent one or are they all pretty much good for someone who drinks whiskey?

Vintage & Reserve labels refer to the age of the whiskey and how they are matured. Jameson have probably the best selection of blended whiskies in Ireland. For the money and what you get I'd recommend the Red Breast as previously mentioned, lovely and subtle and part of the Jameson family. if you wanted to push the boat out go for a bottle of 'Midleton Very Rare', Iv yet to taste a better blended Irish Whiskey in my opinion it well worth the money, although probable not if you're not drinking it yourself, again its part of the Jameson family!

With United playing at 4pm, you might be surprised at how few bars have the AI SF on anything other than a muted 14" screen tucked into the corner. There's a lot more ManU fans than Kerry fans in Belfast.

The Bot would definitely have it one of their rooms. The Hatfield will have it on somewhere. But both those are out of town a bit.

100% sure The All Ireland SF will be shown in the upstairs room in 'The Garrick' - opposite Vic Sq on Chichester St!!

We all heard from alot of lads how great an appointment Moyes was. He wasn't and I had doubts about him at the time as well. LVG is another poor appointment in my eyes. Been plying his trade in the low-value arena of international management, a fractious relationship with the media and his only significant silverware was 20 years ago when European football was a very different place. He won a Bundesliga at Bayern when alot if lads here would have said it was Mickey Mouse league a long way behind the Spanish and English ones. He didn't build a team at Bayern, was there for about a season and he has a less than distinguished record at signing players. That won't suffice at United with a 150 million war chest.

If you're advocating the great appointment of LVG and Giggs, remember you probably sung the praises of Moyes and ex-United stalwart Phil Neville as well. As a Pool fan I didn't fear the appointment of Moyes, I thought it was an error and once again LVG isn't a signing that sends shivers down my spine.

What sort of mileage should you expect to get out of a timing belt? What sort of price are you looking at to get it replaced?

Usually 60000 to 80000 depending on the car. Cost also depends. Can be from £100 upwards.

League form doesn't have much of a bearing when it comes to the summer and the championship.

Dunno about that, most teams that do well in league do well in the championship. Outside of Donegal you wouldn't really say there is an All Ireland winning team in division 2 yet you're (kinda) struggling to break free of it. If I was a Donegal fan with hopes of retaining the All Ireland I'd be a bit concerned about their league form.

Dublin are the current All Ireland Champions!!
