The wifes Tiguain went through the MOT with the engine management light on in November - No issues.

Started last January with couch to 5k and built up to doing 10k regularly in the last few months.  Went to play a bit of 5 a side a couple of weeks and my achilles was sore afterwards.  I was limping for a couple of days afterwards but pain died away.  Tried doing 5k again there and it got sore again the next day.

Anybody any experience with an achilles strain and how long it might take?

I'm doing all the stretches as per advice on the web but is it worth going to see a physio?

Another vote for La Baume, campsite is great.

Wasn't impressed with Al Fresco at the site though, mobile home wasn't cleaned properly before we arrived, BBQ was old, dirty and broken.  Rep tried to clean it and fix it unsuccessfully.

So when a large crowd is in an area which has a proper safety plan and is monitored by experienced staff and police aided by technology, then they will behave as expected (have manners) in most cases and the ones that don't will be lifted?

Exactly if its safe because people have manners then why do they need safety plans, technology and close policing???

Each station is required to have a Congestion Control and Emergency Plan (CCEP) in place to ensure that any congestion on platforms, concourses and other areas in a station does not impact on the safety of customers.

I think its very naive to think that safety on the London underground is solely dependent on passenger behavior.

Did you see the photo I posted? https://ibb.co/r4PWF5q

I did see your photo.

Did you see the link I posted which includes a direct response from the mayor of London on how they manage crowds safely on the underground using a combination of planning and technology?  Point being that its not just left up to the passengers "behaving" themselves as you suggested earlier.

hi all, trying to get a house build and looking about the exterior off the house. we had our heart set on stone but its going to cost to much. just wondering is there any other alternatives that is similar to stone than is cheaper? thanks in advance

Recently completed an extension to our house and put some of the cladding on the face of the new extension and the existing porch. Very happy with it turned out and a big saving on stone.

Heading to Barcelona for the weekend soon for a kid free break.

Any advice on what to see / where to go / what to avoid?

QuoteYou've missed my point completely.

As a side note; anyone who doesn't wash fruit and vegetables before eating them is going to get ill.

Washing fruit and veg might remove some dirt but its not going to get rid of e-coli (unless you use bleach which I wouldnt advise)

I wouldn't put poison down inside the house, you could end up with a bad smell when they start to rot.

I had an infestation in the attic a couple of years ago, got 12 of the wee feckers in the end.
I got a pest control guy out and he found where they were getting in beside the boiler and sealed it up, haven't had an issue since.

I littered the place with glue traps and traditional traps and used peanut butter or chocolate.
Traditional traps against the walls of the attic worked well for me.

+1 for Bunsen.

They have opened in Hill Street in Belfast also, absolutely deadly.

Im not suggesting he was on a suicide mission or that he meant for that bomb to go off when it did. However, the fact remains that those people died because of his actions that day. The intended targets may have been loyalist paramilitaries but his recklessness resulted in the death of innocent people.

Im not ignoring context here, i guess i just dont see how you can justify putting innocent peoples lives at risk. If that means im in an ivory tower or im a f*cking dung bag then so be it but thats my view.
