Anyone watch Fargo tonight on channel 4. Excellent.  Based on the film.

Yeah, thought it was good but Martin Freeman wasn't convincing for me, annoying in fact.

I enjoyed it as well, but couldn't stop thinking martin freeman just isn't as good as william H macy at that character. Very hard to believe anyone else doing the role
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Agree with all of this. Watched it tonight and really enjoyed it but agree Freeman is a weak link.

Was that "Better Call" Saul Goodman as a policeman?

After watching the first series on Sky Arts & the hoors not showing the 2nd, I bought Hatufim / Prisoners of War Boxset (directly from Israel, customs charge of £12 too the bastids). For anyone who watched series 1, series 2 is just f**king superb.

(This is the show that Homeland is based on).

Thanks, will watch out for that. S1 was excellent.

Same as that, I'd appreciate a heads up if it returns as I tend not to look at the schedule for Sky Arts.
Season 2 on Sky Arts on Friday nite @11.30pm.

I've never seen the film so I didn't think Freeman was that bad as I wasn't comparing him to the original.
I enjoyed it.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Where can I get series 1?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Where can I get series 1?

Got mine from the local library (the book type). A fuddy duddy way I know.

Anyone watching Sons of Anarchy?

On season 2 at the minute. Going grand so far (bar the dodgy Irish accents). Worth pursuing further?

Mixed bag really. Really enjoyed it up to I think season 4 (I think). Absolutely awful season set in Ireland and I haven't gone back to it since. Have later seasons at home but that one season really put me off.
Hope someone here has seen later seasons and can confirm that they have improved.

I was the same, the season in Belfast was absolutley brutal, going from fighting with cops to shooting people in the middle of Belfast and not a word said and dont get me started on the accents. I eventually bit the bullet and started watching again Season 5 was very good and Season 6 was even better, i would recomend watching again.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Currently on the spin when I get a chance

Vikings - loving it
Orange is the New Black - watched 2 so far, seems OK.
Game of Thrones - holy buck, some show
Banshee - 2 quality seasons
Justified - have watched the first 4 seasons. Good show
