Quotemadness of the O'Byrne Cup final in 2004

It was pretty mad in 2000 as well!

I think there was 14,000 there that day.

Foundations for the floodlights were found to be sub standard and had to be taken down after cracks appeared.

I have no idea how much it cost or how much it would cost to put them back up again but hopefully a better integrated solution will be included in the rebuilding of PT but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't.

Anyway, we've won three games in a row and some people are getting giddy particularly on hoganstand but we'll have to see. Andy is trying out as many lads as he can and doesn't seem too fussed about the result so we'll probably see a very different 15 on Sunday. He has set his sights on promotion in the league so I think it will be fair to judge him on that.

A loss one day one is going to make promotion a lot harder for either team as it has the potential to be a tie breaker when all is said and done. I'd be disappointed if we don't beat Meath at home.

a) This is the O'Byrne Cup thread.
b) Sickening arrogance.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

The restless sleep, the getting out of bed at 6 to check the weather, the knot in the gut, the feeling that it's great to be alive.

It's O'Byrne Cup Final Day.

I know, was just saying it wasn't as bad.
It was sarcasm, I'm well aware of the Glaveys match being called off. Was going to go to it.
