If Derry and Tyrone win their 1/4 finals there'll be no semi-final draw as the only way to avoid previous fixtures in the semis will be:
Derry v Tyrone
Mayo/Dublin v Armagh/Monaghan
Derry v Tyrone
Mayo/Dublin v Armagh/Monaghan

So if Derry beat Cork, and as one of Armagh/Monaghan go through, is that pairing possible in a sf since we've played Armagh in an Ulster Final and Monaghan in the groups?
If not, the one Semi permutation will possibly be Derry v (Kerry/Tyrone or Dublin/Mayo).
Is that right? That's a tough route for Derry if so, but then all routes are tough at this stage.
No repeat pairings in the semi final either!

Mc Carthy says there may be a draw for the semi-finals.
Bit mad that.
Quote from: restorepride on June 25, 2023, 10:16:04 PMKerry have a 50% chance of playing Tyrone and 50% chance of playing Monaghan and 0% each of Cork and Mayo.Quote from: armaghniac on June 25, 2023, 09:41:44 PMNo - it still depends on the order they come out tomorrow. The 'can't play' clause is not a certainty. Otherwise the draw could go on for a long time!!!
Kerry guaranteed Ulster opposition and Cork and Mayo likely to face Ulster opposition.

As I said Kerry are as apt to drop knees, nip ,etc and have always been for as long as I remember
Cathal o Rourke being taken out in 2000
Kennelly in the all Ireland final throw in against cork to name two that aren't even recent
Undoubtedly as cynical as anyone and fair play they know how to
Win

Seems very unfair on Kerry minors to play the Monaghan minors as part of a double header with the Monaghan seniors.
Didn't Croke Park take the minor finals away from before the senior final to protect them from having to play in front of a large crowd that are there for the senior game?
That should apply for other minor games also.
Not entirely fair, but Kerry got the benefit of this over the years, while Monaghan probably never did (although other Ulster supporters probably cheered for them).

Do Galway have anyone who would be considered a dirty player? They are developing a wee bit more cynicism but no one stands out.
There's no Galway or Kerry players who I would consider a dirty player.
They are extremely cynical and have always been
But given they aren't northern it's not flagged up.
