Who the f**k calls a child Kuba
Who the fûck is so close-minded and childish to judge what someone calls their child?
Many of those who have children might be better judges than your good self......
I have 1000 plus every year in my care and trust me Syferus, it is not doing yiur child any favours to be so "creative" in the naming.
Im sure you are aware Syferus that Kuba is of Polish extraction he plays with Ballaghadereen. You know most of their players.

That explains the name much better.... i just presumed an over trendy parent
But Syferus couldn't lecture and do outrage then.....
I suppose Callaghan is the more slaggable part of his name with what's happened recently and what's going to unfold in Ballagh...
Kuba is a knickname. Jakob or Jacob is the name I'd presume.
Not like Syferus to miss out on a chance to give us more information of his many Mayo heros

I queried why anyone would give he name Kuba to a child.... stand over that, Have seen too many kids suffer because of flamboyant naming flashes by their parents....
But if you think it stupid fair enough...
Not as stupid as the Mayo lover who pretends to be Rossies honest on here though

"Who the f**k calls a child kuba" is more a rhetorical question than a query when i read it.

Get a grip ffs. You made a dick of yourself. You are now serving up classic deflection.
No deflection. I couldn't fathom how anyone called a child Kuba. The polish may explain....
But hardstation I will defer to your considerable experience of making a dick of oneself here

Your post was absolutely pathetic. Realise that and move on.
Guess who called his son Kuba
I think the parents had the whole Beckham thing going on except they were dyslexic.
That's the kind of thing that happens when Roscommon people have to play for a fun club that thinks it's in Co. Mayo ;)
Any player selections folks or are we going to flog the Luba horse forever.?

This post shouldn't get overlooked while Orchard Park digs a deep hole for himself.
You're commenting on the name of a young lad who's barely of age. Cop yourself on ffs.
Rosrhubarb Syferus rides in to the fray....

To be honest you made a silly mistake. You should own it and move on.
Anyway....
Laois under 20s. Ronan Coffey (Portarlington), Mark Barry (O'Dempseys), Gary Saunders (Portlaoise).
Don't know much about the 17's but have heard good things about Paul O'Flynn and Sean Greene.
Galway U-20s:
Darragh Silke- Corofin
John Daly-Mountbellew Moylough
Evan Murphy-Salthill (playing for Galway Utd at the minute so probably rules him out for a while anyway)
GAA website has had a go themselves.

Would agree with Silke and Daly but I don't think Murphy is good enough to make it as senior IC level. Pace is an issue with him and he's become very injury prone - probably as a result of trying to play numerous codes over the past few years.

Yeah he was on crutches out on the pitch there last October when Salthill won the minor. Once fit he's probably going to have to decide if he's going to play gaelic or soccer. Difficult and getting even harder to do both to a high level.
Did he not have some kind of soccer scholarship offer from America too? Being honest I don't think he'll ever be a constant in a Galway football team, too much going on with soccer which seems to be his preference.
Locally last summer there was a lot of talk about Ryan Monaghan (Oughterard) Tony Gill (Corofin) Conor Raftery (Glenamaddy) and Matthew Cooley (Corofin) from last year's minors
There's this guy called Clifford we have who's fairly decent..doubt he'll play u20 in 2019 though!
Michael Potts from Crokes is a very good player, as is Donal O'Sulivan from the tiny club of Kilgarvan but after Clifford - Diarmuid O'Connor from Na Gaeil is probably the best prospect. Has the mobility and versatilty to be a big player at the highest level with the right development and a bit of luck.
This team won the Minor in 2017 but obviously Clifford an enormous loss and everything revolved around him so interesting to see how they adapt without him.
Paul O'Shea from last years u17s is a super player and being targeted by AFL. Hope he doesn't go. Ruarí O'Beaglaíoch who is still u17 this year is an excellent prospect also.
In Tyrone, the obvious one is Darragh Cavanan, who is getting a run in the McKenna cup at the minute and looks a different class
Young Murnaghan from Killyclogher had a great year for them last season in the run to the county final an is also getting a look in the mckenna cup.
Probably just out of this criteria, but was on the u20s last year, Brian Kennedy looks like he could make an impact sooner than any of them.
From watching the minors the last few years Id have said Sean Mulkerrin was the outstanding defender during the period of winning the last 4 Connacht Minor titles, he was involved in last years FBD panel and is still available to the U20's again this year. I really like the look of Cein D'Arcy too, seen some action during the league last year so would expect to see more of him this year.
From last years minors I thought Cathal Sweeney was the standout player, like the look of Matthew Cooley too;

I remember posting that.
While not necessarily the star man, the last name there has won an U20 All Ireland earlier today.
One of a couple of players who played and started for the Offaly 20s for 3 consecutive years, straight outta minor.

If they could get Cian Johnson back fit a FF line of him, Cian Farrell and Jack Bryant would have some fire power.
