. A lot people just want these footballers to put some pride back in the shirt so hopefully that starts here....

And a similar story here but I think we've given up on our Senior lot especially Fergies fledgelings are looking good again this year.
Word is it's on the Saturday night and hopefully the Connacht final also in the Hyde on the Sunday.

.

Dougan made his Northern Ireland debut against Czechoslovakia during the 1958 World Cup in Sweden and his latest international appearance was in 1973.

[/quote

Was this as a result of him playing for an All Ireland Selection v Brazil????
I heard him and David Craig never got picked for Internationals again.
Mr Fearon will no doubt fill us in.

Rest in peace Doog.

you must agree Mayo are generally a sporting county, we are not known for dirt.

Wouldnt disagree with that most of the time.
Maybe if ye had a bit of in in 1989/1996/1997/2004/2006..... :'(

why was laois v wexford not played today?

Because Comhairle Laighean fixed it for next Sunday.
It'll fairly feck up the Qualifiers if it's a draw though :D :D

I doubt Mayo were dirty without reason, have you ever seen a dirty Mayo team?
.

There are none so blind.......... ::)
I certainly saw a dirty Mayo team last night -  Paul Garvey almost decapitated;Kevin Higgins and James McKeague fouled at least 10 times each ...nos 8 and 9 lucky not to have got reds......

Last year when Ros minors bet Galway in the first Round we had a loads of Galway posters telling us about it being the worst Galway minor team in years.
This year we bate Mayo and we have Mayo posters telling us it's the worst Mayo minor team in years.
Get used to it lads -hopefully it's the future. ;)

" Home Internationals" - how can that be ???
Surely one team must play away ????

For the Nordies -  ;D ;D ;D

The Sky report was even better, they called it The Britsh Cup  ;)

Maybe could all be played i bPáirc na Cise Fada  8)

Now Rossfan ......
Out of interest would you rather get or avoid Mayo in qualifiers, to be honest neither team look to hot @ the moment.

Only saw your question now.
Problem is Sam everyone will want to get us..we're so bad.
As for us we'd like to avoid Mayo beacuse a 15 point hammering from ye lads  :'(would send us all off to join the Orange Order  :(

Tyrone should never have been included in the North East anyway.
It seems if you tell the truth you are "intolerant" in this silly thing.
Also it has to be suspect referring to a County called "Londonderry" God help us !!

, we need a Mary Harney style figure to throw her weight around

There's no need for that Mr Gwayt'hell > Mary cant help being as she is.

I'd better put in one or two  :D ;D of these so ye Nordies will see I'm trying to crack a joke. :P

First ye are not playing last years All Ireland Champions.
Most of that team are now overage.
Second the two best survivors of last years team have been out injured for months and will not be available until August by which time we may be well gone.
Mayo with their underage traditions and much greater population and I believs a very good squad must be roaring favourites.
Hopefully the minoreens will at least have the traditional Ros spirit unlike the Senior clowns.
Of course the minors have one big advantage -they have a Manager.
