Quote from: Cunny Funt on Today at 07:24:00 PMWhat a difference a year makes for Donegal. Organisation, high work rate and fitness they have in abundance now. It was decent game in Celtic Park, competitive throughout made it intriguing watch and I'll be surprised if the same doesn't happen for the final. Is it a gimmick for Philly McMahon to give the Man of the match to a player from a losing team?
Who'd he give it to? I switched over after..

I'll give you one reason for the poor crowd and continued apathy among Down supporters and this is our manager. Obviously the County Final fiasco is one element and interesting that the investigation never delivered any findings for some reason. I thought I was watching Kilcoo yesterday rather than Down, everything scummy that could be done was done. The behaviour of our manager was pathetic but not surprising as this is his norm. Paddy Burns said on his interview on the BBC about the abuse he got from our line and that he could take it from the players but the sideline should just leave it to the players, I could only imagine what the others received from our management on the sideline. The reaction from the dugout after our first goal as seen on social media sums up the they type of people we have in our backroom, players were delighted and no issue. It is interesting that GAAGO had to cut out a non player giving double fingers in the direction of the Armagh dugout though.

If we have to employ a man person like Laverty to win and play football in the manner that he has to do to win and even worse that the players will do this to win then good luck lads. I must be out of touch and old school but this is not for me and I don't think I am alone here. Most people here think it is great and celebrate a win, well good luck to you men but as a proud Down man this is not my football.

Credit to Louth into the Leinster senior football final in two years running for the first time since 1957-1958. A pity it's Dublin eyeing up another AI title they'll face but will have the group stage after that and will be 2nd seeds.

Kildare need to have a full review to how and why this year has gone so badly for them.  Lost all Div 2 games and have now dropped to the Tailteann Cup and would anyone put money on them to win that competition?  For a county that has been strong and had success at U20 and U17 the last 5/6 years they should not find themselves at that position
