Sorry for bringing this up again, but has anybody outside the UK tried this ExPat shield thing for watching all the on-demand channels from back home?

Xavi has had some continuity at international level, in terms of always playing with mostly the same group of players and under the same manager for a long time. Whereas Messi played under Maradona at the last world cup, a great footballer but not much of a manager! He still played very well, even under such conditions, he never scored but he set up almost every goal they scored. I think 2014 is made for Messi, similar age to Maradona in '86 and he'll be hitting his peak, it will be interesting to see if Germany and Spain will still be the main international footballing nations by then, but Argentina have some good young players coming through too.

Who would you guys say is the worst pundit out there? I find Robbie Savage and, especially, Chris Waddle on ESPN particularly useless.

Didn't see the match but I read they had at least 2 good goals ruled out. It's a shame, can't see Madrid dropping many points against the weaker teams, but I'd be confident that Barca would beat them any time they play them, so in that sense it bodes well for the Champion's League. They'll more than likely face each other since they're so far ahead of the rest.

20 points so far and I assume he'll get a few more bonus points. Ox seems to be playing some stuff as well.

Can't see either of those scenarios taking place. Rafa Benitez is the favourite to take over in Madrid, and for Mourinho's last 2 jobs, he's basically been able to spend as much as he want (definitely more than rival teams in the league), and this won't be the case at Arsenal.

Very impressed with Warrior, when is The Grey out? Reminds me of The Edge, an old favourite.

Apologies if I've missed an existing thread on this topic, but are BBC iplayer, Sky go, 4 on demand and such online services available in Europe?

Anyone sign up to lovefilm app on xbox? Is it worth it - do you get all the new realeases with lovefilm or is it even older stuff?

I took the 1 month free trial a few months back, the selection is almost overwhelming with something like 70,000 films and that's not even including the TV series!

Couple of good ones on tonight. 21 just started on RTE, 50 Dead Men Walking is on later on BBC for those who are interested. Anyone seen Deliverance? One I've been meaning to see and it's also on later.
