Cavan team named.

No Killian Clarke, McLoughlin or McVeety in starting 15.

Would love to see Cavan win this but unfortunately I think Tyrone will win this by 8-10 points. Cavan struggle to score from open play and will struggle to keep all the Tyrone fires out.

Ie. Canavan, McCurry, McShane if he back on form.

Yeah only the 3-4 scored from open play last day out. Quite the struggle

4 points from play is not a great return haha.

3 goals from play however is very good, but the worrying thing is its not a common theme for Cavan to score goals but hopefully that's changing.

How many goals did they score in the league altogether 3 or 4?

Garavn Jones scored more from play in the Fermanagh game v Cavan that any Cavan player scored from pay in all 7 gmaes combined.

So there's definitely an issue with scoring from play for Cavan. But its championship now and trends can go out the window.

Well it's 7 scores from play in a gale force wind conditions, so it's ok considering that. Some of those goals would be chances that some would take points from, so good we've goals in us anyway.

Wouldn't be too concerned with that Fermanagh League game. We were clearly holding our water for 2 weeks after. They were playing for their lives and we had nothing to play for that day

I agree on the goals very encouraging to see themgo for the juggler instead of fisting over the bar. True on the Fermanagh game aswell but these are just observations I've made i'm not criticizing as it was a great performance the last day despite this; bit of a step up again this weekend but you don't know what your gonna get with Tyrone.

When up against clowns you should go for the juggler.

It will be interesting to see if Mattie does play at 6. He could add real solidity there potentially if he is back to himself.

Really don't see how Matty starts at 6 unless as a sweeper and someone else picks up the marking job on a Cavan forward
I struggle to see how Matty starts at all to be honest having missed so much of the league

McKiernan has nailed 6 and will surely start there, its a dummy team, expect Aidan Clarke to start corner back

My prediction is Matty doesn't start and comes in off the bench for the second half or last 20mins depending on how its going, deployment also as required, could be middle third could be FF

I wish they would bring in a rule to stop teams announcing dummy teams. Should be a rule to only allow minimum changes. e.g. 2

Or what about just naming them the hour before throw in? Only reason they are done during the week is for the programmes.

Dungarvan just over 1k, probably about what you'd expect.
Didn't see any figures for Leinster where crowds have been declining for years in a one team Competition.
Cavan v Monaghan was a pretty poor turn out for a fixture which regularly drew 5 figure crowds.

*€30 for a stand seat was a disgrace for a Qtr Final. No wonder the Stand was half empty.

I was on the hill in Clones and there was hardly a Monaghan fan around me. Maybe they were all in the stand but it felt like there was more Cavan support at the match?

Would the lower cost of the hill have attracted more Cavan supporters. 

New rules tomorrow should change things up with regards 'fake' injuries, players that need attention have to go off the pitch and only allowed back on at ref's 'discretion' 😉

Read the article. These aren't old style tills. It says the till display had an error which meant none of the stock items were displayed on the touchscreen so it wasn't just a payment issue, it was also a product selection issue before even getting to payment. There is little in the way of a plan B for companies when their tech lies down as most stock doesn't even have a price on it nowadays

If is was simply a payment issue, those without cash could go old skool and get cash.

Carrickmore beat omagh on penalties in 2020 final, played in 2021 I think

Think 2021 and 2022 were u17 seasons.

Tyrone became more attacking when they had McKenna & McShane available and in form. Not so much when they lost those 2.
Harte was a big part of having them both on this side of the World.

Currently exploring the idea of our first trip abroad with the kids – 6, 4 & 3
We liked the idea of the ferry to Brittany, but its around 17 hours & actually quite expensive so looking at flying
Has anyone any airport/camp combinations to recommend? Thinking short transfer
I've been checking flights to Nates/Paris/Amsterdam – might have to go the 12th week which isn't always ideal

I'm seeing flights from ~£800-1300 (before luggage) & the camp starts at less than £800 which isn't bad at all compared to a package holiday

great 5 star campsite in Biscarrosse called La Rive. a week there will be about 500 euro outside of july and august
