Congrats to the bushmen today.  Damn this is hard to say.  But...not nearly as hard as it would be saying it to Antrim
To find his equal an Irishman is forced to talk to God!

Dromore qualified for the 2008 grade 1 u16 Championship final  by virtue of a 4.10, to 3.4  victory over Clonoe this morning at Loughmacrory.

Ardboe went to Eglish to play Trillick in the under 16 championship but the referee refused to let the game go ahead due to the field not being marked out. A bit of an inconvenience to say the least for both teams but apparently it is a requirement for the field to be lined out.

It was a bit embarassing for the referee as he was from the host club.

Not exactly fair on Rock/Trillick and Derrylaughan/ Killeshill to have to play 4 days later if they win on wednesday nite. Why are these games not on Sunday or Monday nite?So much for player burnout, sit on your arse for 10 weeks and play 2 championship games in a week.

It's now a case of geeting these games played and out of the way - a small price to pay for having Sam in Tyrone again.

I am sure you will be wanting to see your manager and Captain again.
I know a lot of you will be mad to get to this. You can read about the tragedy and the Gearld Fearon appeal at www.gfmemorialday.com. I am sure youhave read about it in the news over the last two years. A lot more names to be added that I will update, anyone likely to head?

In case you cant see the writing it is Armagh v An allstar select managed by Joe Kernan and Mickey Harte:

Ref:Pat McEnaney

Players: include : Kierna McGeeney, Conor Mortimer, Graham Geraghty, Paddy Bradley, Seanie Johnston, Paul Barden, Karol Mannion, Eamon O'Hara, Ross Munnelly, Brian Dooher, BRyan Cullen, Marty McGrath.

Saturday, October 18th. Dromintee.

Plucky Stewartstown do it again in the championship!!  Fair play Clarshack, a lot of people will see this as a shock result but Stewartstown are no mugs when it comes to championship ball!!

yeah i know, plus we always seem to play our best football around this time of year. although the referee sent off a clann na ngael player i thought he offered very little protection to some of our players especially gareth devlin. you had to be half killed to get a free! a major problem we have is that we cant kill off teams when on top of them. we should have won tonight by 8-10 points but had to rely on a 'professional/cynical' foul on o'neill to prevent a draw. we had the moy beat this year as well plus clonoe last year. anyway we'll take rock v trillick going to extra time on wednesday night!
