Abbeylara are in their third final in a row by my calculations. They have to win this time. The psychology must be fascinating. Otherwise it's the Mayo/Clann na nGael model.

Boots will be disappointed with the Colmcille goalie - seeing as the glorious past there.

Clonguish v Mullinalaghta promises to be a good game.

As I said to Laureleye, it's better than another humiliation meeting the half-parish in the final.

Fourth. Killoe in 2015 and ourselves in '16 and '17.

No guarantee you'd have been meeting the half-parish - Clonguish looked dangerous in the second match and might be the dark horses of the tournament.

There must be a lot of local hedge fund money piled in on Mullinalaghta. Definitely no time for complacency.

Clonguish 1-6 Mullinalaghta 0-12

Abbey-Mull final again. More repeats than RTÉ.

Any point in mentioning Wolfe Tone's 6-in-a-row?

Fine looking jerserys!

Isn't the pattern Old Skool Mostrim? Maybe the footballers need to go back to the hoops as well.

Many congrats on the six-in-a-row. We look on in envy.

Lovely to see the famous Mostrim Martello Tower in its rightful place, front and centre.  Congrats (mumble, mumble).

Good luck on Sunday, Laureleye.

Cheers, Billy. Much appreciated. No-one has managed three in a row since FMG in 1998 and no-one has ever lost four in a row, so it's a very big ask.

I'm heading down on Sunday to cast a cold eye on proceedings.

Stand has been refurbished (apart from the birdshite) so that will be something.

Good luck for the 3-in-a-row Laurel. If yiz win would there be room on the lorry for me?
