Ironically the one place Dublin has no advantage is trying to do a bit of clandestine training in the capital. It would be far easier get away with that in the arse end of nowhere.

No.

Covid spreads when people ignore the rules.
The Dubs ignored the rules.
So did Hogan.
Hogan lost his job.

Regardless if rules was ignored little or no deaths occur as of result of outdoor activities.

Next time post such news in the appropriate thread.

mayo fitness level were impressive in extra time last sunday considering the dubs were training all year round. The breach seemed damaged morale in dubs camp?

How many teams didn't breach the rules? Bit harsh blaming the dubs when loads were at it.

Down and cork got bans. It's the worst kept secret in the world that Derry were at it. There's three that I know of and I wouldn't be too much in the know.

Ultimately when Dublin broke the rules some of the standard bearers of Dublin felt they were letting themselves down. The discipline and leadership that was key from the likes of Cluxton and others was ignored and indeed scorned. When the standard bearers left there was a leadership gap and this was filled by indiscipline. The achievements of the greatest team that ever played the game from 2011 to 2020 was founded on different values and the class of 21 should not be equated with that group, not tarnished either.  Dublin in 2021 ended up a rabble.  The 2011 - 2020 teams will be remembered with fondness, and with no sign of Cluxton returning the era is over.
