Will there be any clarity given on when these matches can go ahead? Is the end of the inter county season as a whole or just when Laois are knocked out as I see conflicting reports?

Extremely unfair on all clubs still involved to have no idea when they will be playing again.

Surely the CB will bring it forward now? Extremely unfair on the clubs involved. Obviously a decision needs to be made asap, I really hope they see sense.

Any reason why the draw was not made yesterday?

No surprise but it was a mistake, fixture now says it is in O'Moore park.

Interesting that everyone is taking a alan doheny's word as gospel. I wouldn't be so sure no of that.

Agree, thats why i said IF, and thats why it needs to be investigated, i hope the county board have got a report/statement from O'Brien for this meeting tonight or tomorrow night, not sure exactly when it is.

I'd be skeptical on this also considering he 'missed' two blatant stamps by a Camross defender on the terrace side in the second half.

Too lazy to find out the number of clubs to do the maths.. Anyone work out what each club will get yet?
A little under 2,200.

Very good, thanks! Great boost for clubs at this time of year!

As much of a blow as it would be for Laois I would be happy for John if he did get an opportunity to go for the job. I would be surprised if it wasn't an ambition of his and I agree that it wouldn't be a big surprise if Kerry did approach him!

Westmeath GAA Twitter account just tweeted an interview with Kelly about this weekends game so couldn't imagine he's no longer involved!  ;)

Looking forward to the game, more so than in previous years. Seems to be a little but more optimism about the team, winning Division 4 wasn't an extremely significant achievement but was the best they could do. Hard to speculate on a team, especially if some of those injuries are going to rule lads out, so I won't even try!

Will hopefully get a decent crowd to the game as the summer can start with a win!

Just back from Delaney Park, someone call the guards, as there was a murder, plenty of witnesses there too for it.

Saw that result, outrageous.. was it as painful to watch as it sounds? Hard to comprehend a result like that!

Ballyfin probably would have preferred the first draw where they got Kilcruise  ;D

I see they left out Graiguecullen and Killeshin in the first draw. Counting to 16 is hard in fairness. The sooner they reduce the number of senior clubs the better, make the maths easier for the county board.

So presuming his transfer gets turned down, (farcical if it wasn't) he now has no access to senior football?

Anyone know who the "Gaels" element in Ballyfin and Mountmellick is?

Presume it's the same as last year, MM with Castletown and Ballyfin with Slieve Bloom.

You would presume most clubs have appointed now.

You are clearly from Ballyfin, you must have some agenda posting that!

I hear there is upwards of 55 lads in with Laois at the minute, a good number of the Portlaoise lads in too. A good balance of youth and experience, will be interesting to see who makes the cut. I assume there will be a significant cull some time soon, good for lads to get exposure to the set up but must be a pain to manage training with that number!
