I'm more surprised that people are concerned that drinking at a football stadium is banned when you can't drink in the stands at most football stadiums. They also had a limit of 4 drinks initially.

Croke park banned drinking at the stadium during covid, no one lost their shit, in fact watching the games sober is actually a better experience

But I think its a wtf that 2 days out from hosting the world Cup they ban it from the stadium after previously promising that it would be allowed, after fifa securing a massive sponsorship deal from budweiser, that they will surely face a massive lawsuit on. All stadiums have that facility built into them nowadays, they are not always open though, but swing away kidder if it keeps you happy
