McCarron could be the missing jigsaw piece for Errigal. They would go very deep in the Ulster Club this year if they got in.

No one mathematically gone yet, bottom team can still get to 11 points. All to play for.

Playing at this time of the year isn't a problem, no issues for soccer season, as long as it has been a consistent program. If the league is to start end of July so be it. Teams can start training after Patricks Day.
As someone said some club teams were breaking covid restrictions to be out training before the turn of the year and they are still training/playing games.

Fair enough with the above but with starting the league in August it knocks out the notion of Friday night games. As evenings by that stage are closing in fast and not enough clubs have adequate flood lights. Would it not have been better to reverse the split season let the clubs go first and play in the good weather instead of a muck fest in December. County season need max every weekend 16 pitches while the club game needs thousand of pitches every weekend.
