There was a Wexford lad from a few years ago, can't remember which, with a glorious overhead strike from a fair distance out.

I think I remember that. Did he volley the ball as it over going over his head without catching it?

Flick/ricochet overhead and swung at it. Wasn't a volley in sense that he pulled in mid air on a pass coming into him. Still looked bloody spectacular.

Remember back in the day Liam Hayes scoring a goal against us in a league final into the Canal End. An absolute belter. Can't say I have seen anything better since.

I'm pretty sure it was against Derry but maybe not.

yep it was against Derry In 2007,  that game and the replay in Navan (I think)  were two fantastic gamed of football
