This will forever be the best strike seen on a GAA pitch.

I've never understood why that incident has been hyped to death as if O'Sullivan was some sort of superman, bulldozing all mere mortals from his path without breaking stride.

He's galloping out at full tilt. The Limerick lad is more or less just standing in his way. Newton's Laws and the conservation of momentum allow for no other result than what we saw given their relative velocities, whatever their relative sizes or heroic bearing.

He came out in front like a train, collected the ball, knocked an opponent on his ass 'without breaking stride' and struck the ball between the posts from about 100 yards... as far as GAA goes it's as "superman" an act as you're gonna get.

Fenton's is the best if he went for it.

Can't watch O'Sullivan's enough though.

There was a Wexford lad from a few years ago, can't remember which, with a glorious overhead strike from a fair distance out.

I think I remember that. Did he volley the ball as it over going over his head without catching it?

When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

OK. I'm overwhelmed.

I'm glad you've finally managed to understand.

Flick/ricochet overhead and swung at it. Wasn't a volley in sense that he pulled in mid air on a pass coming into him. Still looked bloody spectacular.
