What station are those shoes on?

1883 on Paramount + which I don't think is available in this part of world Silver. You'd have to go down the IPTV route

Lads would a bike with Tiagra be plenty for someone who has no interest in becoming a MAMIL 😜but would like to build up to 2 or 3 hour rides?
Very little in stock at the moment anywhere but I did find a Trek Domane AL4 in a shop nearby.
My current bike is a cheap budget job from Halfords that is about 15 years old and its a heap of shite and about 2 sizes to big for me,so anything really would be an upgrade.
Dont plan on getting mad into cycling like you boys but Im finding it great for cross training with the running I do. The Grand Canal is literally beside where I live and there are works ongoing to have a towpath all the way to the Shannon and the Royal Canal is a couple of miles away and that stretches all the way from Maynooth to Longford, Id imagine thats where Id be 99% of the time and maybe doing a few laps of the Phoenix Park also. Wouldnt see myself going out on main roads or in group rides or anything.Other than that Id have it attached to a Kickr Core on Zwift.
With that in mind is Tiagra plenty for my needs?
Also found a Giant Contend AR1 that has 105 and is about 300 more.

A few of us bought hybrids a few years back, 700x30 so the tyres are thin enough. All under 500. We'd do anything from 40 to 70k once or twice a week depending on the weather. Not a piece of lycra touches our skin  ;D plenty of Mamils pass us but we're content

Said it before. Social media is the worst thing ever invented.

It's brutal, and that's only from looking at the odd tweet link I'll get sent. So much hate. No headspace for it

If they that good, how come they can't win the ukster intermediate championship

Are they not Div 2 and playing Intermediate Championship?

Finally got around to watching the Slaughtneil hurling game last night. What a great performance, some seriously fine hurlers at the club. Can you imagine those players playing regularly in a Tipp or Kilkenny?

Watched The Father with Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman, hard to describe the emotions this film puts you through, Hopkins is brilliant and Olivia Colman superb as his daughter.

Heard its very good and Hopkins gives a masterclass but  I cant watch sad films in my old age now. Same with that show Afterlife with Ricky Gervais. Looks good but would put me on a complete downer.

I know what you me a Jim, but definitely give Afterlife a go. Uplifting as well as heartbreaking!

Bonkers. And people listen to her :o

The thing is, alot of people who listen to her have been patients of McCloskey down through the years. The trust her as a GP. She has lead them down the garden path. The woman, with her stance from the beginning of this pandemic has blood on her hands. Like other Covid anti-vax Irish folk, has aligned herself with the ultra right wing.

Its mad that all these restrictions are being lifted and were getting our freedoms back. The anti vaxxers said that once they were imposed wed never get them back. Im not sure if I can trust those guys any more.

Yep, Covid passports were here to stay. The narrative now is that they are being dropped as they obviously didn't work.
Who said that? I thought they were here to allow us to go out during Covid? Now that the variant isnt dangerous well hardly need them?

Every conspiracy theorist out there Inc ones in here. 'They' are out to get us, control us, take away our civil liberties, freedom and all that kind of stuff. Passports are here to stay, this is only the start etc etc
And most right thinking people knew it was a temp measure designed to protect.
take the L and move on

Not my call, sure I'm at the behest of 'they'. 'Freedom's just another word....'

They a good chance if they can overcome Tyrone, if that's the attitude why even bother.

You'd needy ask them. Has anything been confirmed or has someone on WhatsApp started a story about a county footballer and its gathered legs?

Doesn't answer why Derry players past 10/12yrs are always running away to America, don't see them do the same in running in Tyrone. Donegal lads be the same going to America alot.

Maybe easier to withstand the lure of the dollar if you've a very good chance of an Anglo Celt and a tilt at Sam?

Mc faul heading away would be a big blow. Watched him a few times in ulster club and thought he was a player that could have a big impact on county scene. Downeys look like top prospects as well.

Mcfaul first played Ulster club in 2021. He's been a county senior for 8/9 years, and a very fine one at that
