I just seen Clonoes last 4 are Coalisland, Carmen, Derrylaughan and Trillick.. Are we looking at a real possibility that 2 points from the last 4 will not be enough to keep them up ? They would be the biggest club in a while to be in that position - don't seem to have much coming through underage either by the looks of things

They have had excellent U-13 and U-15 teams this year in Grade 2 and the fact there's not many teams in Grade 1 these days would suggest they would have been decent in Grade 1 had they been in it. Obviously if those players were to come through to senior it's going to take years so there's no guarantees.

Moortown also have a very difficult run in and mightn't pick up any more points.
Yes a team of 12 year olds playing grade 2 football is really something for Clonoe to look forward to. Senior championship 2030 incoming.

That is club football f**ked now. Open season, do what you want - plead innocence and go through the appeal process. Your lawyer will discover a technicality somewhere along the line and you will get off

Very poor decision to let this offence go without penalty - every team will be up to all sorts of tricks now to gain an advantage - the precedent has been set

Shocking, unbelievable decision to be honest. Just can't get my head around it
Yep I agree should not be the case.I'm starting a petition for a firing squad taking place at ballygawley park and ride for all those involved (and the entire trillick team just because).

Errigal breezed through first two rounds, hopefully Coalisland give them a bit of a game. Could be going into a final / First round of Ulster cold.

Hope to still be in with a shout after the first 10mins to be honest.  Last time we were 3/1 underdogs against them we did alright though  ;)

For those that don't understand betting the poster here means if you put a tenner on Coalisland at 3/1, then you lose ten pounds.
A cold take here under lights? Surely chanting "Errigal Errigal" should have got the soon to be ulster champs over the line? Arrogant Ciaran bow out in their typical fashion.

Another weekend of entertaining club championship. Interesting from Carrickmore to start OAP Barry Daly, he's that old I bet he doesn't even buy the green bananas anymore.

Clonoe reliant on Doris etc - same players from ten years ago
Not one decent youth player has emerged in years.
Errigal with Harte, Cananvanx2, Robinson, McDonnell, Kelly, McCrory as well as others such as Oguz
Ten points a better team.
There's a young lad Brian McCabe a nippy forward from clonoe recently injured but on his way back to his best. If he can control his temper issues and stay off the drink he should be a solid senior player for them in years to come.

How does relegation work. Is it bottom 4 straight down? Or are there playoffs to be done. Taking in other clubs.

Edendork, Galbally and Derrylaughan I would say are as good as gone after their slow starts, I'm
not sure they have enough to fight back (Although 2-3 weeks ago I would have had Eglish in that mix).  Edendork badly hit by the starred system.

Pomeroy would be my 4th team to go. They don't seem to get a big lift from
their county men.

Eglish will hang on.

Four straight down.
Unclear as to what happens if a load of teams end up on same points. I imagine score difference and then scores for.

Throw Coalisland into that mix. Worst Coalisland team in years. Wonder what the ref did wrong tonight again? Must be something wrong in that camp. Can't see mc guckin lasting to the next game
A bit of an exaggeration, I'm sure he will last to the next game barring he gets struck by lightening from now to then.

Some win today for the island. Clonoe over the hill at this stage , Coalisland might build a statue of Plunket Kane. A county championship on the brink maybe , hopefully Tiernan McCann is off the sun beds as well.

We haven't gone away you know!!! Not the title that would have been our first choice but serious bottle shown by our young team to win the league title today, 8th league title since 2003. Added to our U21 Ulster title and Reserve league title it hasn't been a bad year for a team in transition that is supposed to have no future, still the U21 semi final to come too
Think I've heard another club say that first sentence before? Maybe get your own material , this post is about as pointless as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Will this be allowed to happen as Dregish is part of a different parish? Any similar examples in the past?
Is there another club in their parish?

Castlederg. Both they and Dregish lie in Ardstraw West, while NTS lies in Ardstraw East.

Not a problem, Errigal Ciaran are 4 parishes put together.

Care to name them?
Not a problem
Altamuskin, Ballygawley, Garvaghey and Glencull

I often hear this mentioned like its fact especially from the East Tyrone crowd. Errigal Ciarian is one parish, albeit one large parish but I wouldn't think their pick would be any more than other large parishes Carrickmore, Dromore etc. It would definitely be less than town teams like Omagh Coalisland etc
I think this may be the stupidest thing I've ever came across apart from the time I heard people from trillick calling Rory brennan razza. Coalisland and Omagh are of similar size now are they? One is our county town while the other is a small town with numerous clubs surrounding it. Wise up
And if either had the same pick as errigal how come they don't have 4 teams in adult football?
Which do you think is worse, Razza, Ryzer, Donnerz or LeErOy? Wish Dromore won
Don't know my old pal , they must have put their names into a nickname generator they found on the internet.

Heard Coalisland had their annual dust up yesterday then when exiting the Championship.

Local Expert?
And does every team in the county not do the same or is it just Coalisland?

Thought I was at the old firm game yesterday listening to the Trillick supporters hurl abuse at players as well as boo the ref. Poor behaviour from so called adults , I would rather live in Eskra than have trillick win the championship.

Strange enough to walk at this stage as Derrylaughan would fancy a go at a senior semi considering the draw they have.

Get over a beatable Carrickmore team and they would be favourites to win the quarter.

If my granny had balls she'd be my uncle, lots of it's buts and maybes fresh change will do them

An inspired Glenelly side upsetting eskra maybe the biggest shock in Glenelly since people from there realised you don't have to be first cousins to get married?
