Selby is dour and apparently has got some awful abusive letters in the post because of his style which is awful.

Great final and both players gracious in victory and defeat.
Congratulations to Brecel, a worthy and deserving winner.
Questions that shouldn't be asked shouldn't be answered

Selby. 147. First in a final

#scenes 😃😃

Cliff Thorburn, AKA the Grinder, was the first to get a break of 147 at the world championships, but what was his final points tally in that frame?

Anyone any idea what's the most amount of reds a player has potted in a frame and still lost?

Was it not 151, Terry fouled early doors and the Grinder done the rest.

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Ghost

Amazing how he's still doing it after so long. He's played poor enough this week but his purple patches were enough to carry him through matches.

Love the needle between him and Carter. Few sly digs at the end in the speech.

Britains greatest ever sportsman does it again. GOAT

Unreal from Ronnie tonight.
There was no stopping him in that form.

Carter just couldn't cope with the pressure.
I thought he should have been a bit more magnanimous in defeat though and then Ronnie gets a dig in in return.
Felt a bit awkward.

Ronnie the A hole does it again.  Undoubted talent but the sooner he retires the better.

ONeill

Wasn't aware of the needle but it was there ok in the interviews afterwards.

It will be a sad day when Ronnie no longer plays snooker. Does things we will never see again on a snooker table
