The only group that the JFC might concern is the third group. But why on earth would playing substandard football on a sporadic basis, with ever changing teammates be of any use to these players. Being a fringe player on the senior team, where you train, think an apply like a serious county player is of infinitely more benefit.


What do you think these lads have being doing the last few months?

last two posts (myles and wobbler) seemingly at odds with each other...interesting stuff.

terry hyland regularly talks about how were trying to keep a conveyor belt of talent comming through.i think the juniors acts as another link on the belt.most people agree that the step from u21 to senior is a big one and takes a lot of players a few years to make it. without getting thrown in at the deepend with the seniors the players are getting more high quality competitive football and geling with players they'll be playing alonside for the seniors in the next few years. other than money i see no downside to it.
