The leakage of four goals against Laois should be a cause of concern for Tipperary. Galway scored 0-16 and could have scored a few goals in the Connacht final and that was against Mayo who are known as good in defence.

Cork could do anything from here on in, the could lose to Sligo by 4 points or make the All Ireland final
Quote from: Zulu on July 24, 2014, 03:37:09 PMWhat about the Tipperary game when Hurley failed to score from play?
All players are still developing but Hurley is already a serious operator at county level. Even against Kerry the only reason he didn't end up with 4 points from play was that Kerry were double teaming him and forcing Cork to kick it into the corners.

Back to the subject of the thread -Armagh to win this one and set up a hammering by Dublin.
It is unclear to me if there could be a draw. If Armagh and Kildare win is there a draw for the QFs or not?
If either Meath or Monaghan win there cannot be a draw.
I'd expect Monaghan to win in any case and so ensure that Armagh play Donegal where a modest beating would not be too damaging to morale.
Quote from: Milltown Row2 on July 20, 2014, 04:24:30 PMat least it's more of a contest than the Munster,Leinster finals
This is dung!!! the Golf is more exciting, Monaghan have one player up front!!!
Quote from: moysider on July 20, 2014, 03:13:32 PMyes at least Armagh play to a defensive system.Quote from: our_fella on July 20, 2014, 03:04:14 PM
Armagh will defiantly not be worried playing Meath on this showing. Jesus wept they are awful
Would Armagh do any better out there?
Quote from: Farrandeelin on July 20, 2014, 02:41:10 PMthe rest will be hoping Dublin are peaking themselves and might get caught on the hop against a blanket defence. Dublin's All Ireland to lose.
If Meath can't 'get at' them...then what hope have the rest of us?
Quote from: J70 on July 20, 2014, 12:43:20 PM0-6 to 0-7 in the remaining 34 minutes did Dublin ease off or did Kildare improve.Quote from: rodney trotter on July 20, 2014, 12:28:41 PM
26 min Kildare 1-6 Dublin 3-9
That's about 0.75 scores per minute!
Or a score every 82 seconds!
Quote from: larryin89 on July 20, 2014, 12:06:50 PMa young lad like him getting so many injuries should be a cause for concern. How fit was Brogan in last years final? He hasn't started many games for Dublin since. Mayo will have to improve if they want to reach another All Ireland final as their form in games against Roscommon one point win and almost conceding 3-20 to Galway is not the form you were in last year.
Last years final the man was at about 65% with his shoulder injury. He will be better than the two mentioned in time , i predict he will be poty this year and Mayo wil win Sam Maguire.
