f**k but it's awful. Wonder what the viewing figures are now in comparison to years gone by. Those attending these games must be down in normal years and those watching on TV must be down too. Dubs must be bored with it cause the rest of us are. As someone said here earlier the dubs against the rest of the country is the only possible game for them now. That would only make them stronger though!!

Donegal have Neil McGee still playing because we have no one to replace him. Don't even want to think about Michael Murphy, who we'll be lucky to replace with someone comparable two generations from now. We'll not see another Karl Lacey for years either.

Meanwhile, Dublin have an endless conveyor belt, with no end in sight, allowing them to seamlessly supplement and replace their best players, almost unnoticed, year after year.

Have Bernard Brogan or Paul Flynn been missed? Alan Brogan? Brian Howard spending time on the bench?

Fair play to Cavanagh, the man was a champion, he knew what it took to win and he never asked for difficult things to be made easier for him just because they are difficult

Dublin dont dominate hurling and there club teams dont dominate club all ireland  football

No correlation what so ever. St Galls won a club all Ireland why haven't Antrim.

He is a ball licker looking to have a TV career, the gaul of him to try and explain the black card.

Back to the patronising Dublin thread with you  ;)

The reality is Cavan are a Division 3 team who won Ulster this year on pure heart, pure determination

And fair play to them, they were game as a pebble this evening and were far from disgraced, they were a damn sight better than anybody in Leinster would have been

But they are not the best team in Ulster, they're not the second best team in Ulster, probably not third best

Not sure exactly what people expected this evening

Being good is not a crime

Being good means it's difficult to beat you

Colm O'Rourke was basically pushing the Homer Simpson line - if something is too difficult, quit

I would hope Colm doesn't bring that attitude to his day job in school

Colm's other line is that if a team wins too much for his liking, you should change the rules to bring the good team down to the level of others

Colm very much does not espouse that philosophy in his views on society as a whole, which I find interesting

ONeill

He said money can't make you win a 50/50.

There was some merit in what he said.

Dublin should be hammering Cavan. Tyrone have trimmed them a couple of times in recent years.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Called correctly.

Dublin might have every advantage going, but the crucial one is they're 100% committed to the task ahead.

Jack McCaffrey is arguably the best player in the country when on form.

He took a year out in 2016 and his replacement John Small got man of the match in the all Ireland final.

He takes a year out this year, McDaid comes in and wins man of the match today.

Hard to compete with that.

Moloney and McStay very patronising.

Agree it is embarrassing.
Put it on mute about 5 minutes ago

Game is sky sports mix if have that.

Thanks, but live in the US.
Actually think Darragh Moloney is the best by a mile, just tough to listen to today.

Must be Dessie Dolan for tomorrow 🙄

Yep. The dream team it will be.
Marty will no doubt be doing his geography monologue, while Dessie will have the cliche list

Dessie "used his experience" Dolan

6 in a row is a sign that the system is broken.

Even gobshites understand that now.
